IIT Ropar is well connected with the major city like Chandigarh & Delhi. It has well-developed campus and facility. Within a short period, it has created Strong alumni like one of the CAT Rank 1 is from our College and many more. Coming to the median Package Prospective, it was 11.2 Lakh Package while I was joining, which is at par with old IITs and one of the highest package in new IITs. For various Information, I Preferred Quora/Youtube for the campus Review and NIRF Site for Various Stats. The bad aspect is that except electrical and CSE, other branches struggle for placement in non-core and SDE Roles as some companies don't allow to sit in the placement recuirement process, but it can be tackled with if you are firmly focussed on non-core and SDE. Coming to the Process of admission, I gave my Jee advanced exam on 27 Sept 2020. The result was out on OCT 5, after which the JOSAA counselling started on OCT 11(For which we have to enroll on the JOSAA site in my case, they took 35000 in which 33000 was refundable) in which we got different College in Rounds after the last round we are admitted in chosen College and the College will send you mail for further Process and documentation required. One small suggestion is that if anyone wants to apply for fee concession, they should Produce the income certificate in the time frame given by the organization. After the respective College does the document verification, you will attend the class and all. You don't have to worry about anything just be active on E-mail and website all the Information will be given before the time.

In the last of 2nd year or 3rd year, we get a chance to do an Internship which not only helps us in final Placements but also enhances our Experience in this field. This year 100% of the students got Placed within the campus. The average package was 18 LPA, there were many students with 40-45 LPA package, with a highest of 85 LPA package, a student grabbed an international job. There we so many companies, Microsoft was the top recruiter, some more are, Google, Samsung, Goldman Sacs, Adobe, Amazon, Flipkart. You can sit in placements, or go for research, higher studies, or studies abroad, for which many Colleges come to your college, and will give many scholarships.

The college was closer to my home, currently in Punjab, it has lush green area, being eco-friendly and it provided a good exposure. The admission was done by JEE Advanced examination and I joined the campus from 12/11/20. I preferred college dunia Blog and also took review from Quora to select this college.

With 2008 establishment the College has its own permanent campus with 525 acer of land. The infrastructure provided here are fantastic with fully Air conditioner lecture halls and 24*7 working Computer labs and Library. However the market is far from the campus but the college has arranged its own buses for it.

I Was Alloted This College During Councelling, I Had Also Filled Other Colleges In Councelling But Wasn'T Able To Get Them, I Had A Discussion With Few Mentors And They Also Agreed That Based On All The Choices I Have This Is The Best

JEE Councelling depends on the date of JEE Advanced Examination. Roughly it will be 1 month after the exam. You can go to official website of IIT Ropar to know more details. The college is progressing at a faster rate compared to other IITs. So in the long run it will have a greater edge.
