Remarks

It is one of the best engineering institutes in the country. The graduates from the institute secure prominent positions at top firms and research institutes all over the country and worldwide. Various programs for overall development of students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty: Student ~ 1:20. All the faculty were leaders in their respective fields, with doctorate degrees and number of research publications. Regular evaluations were made in the form of assignments, quizzes and exams (two times in singe semester).

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Completing internship is mandatory to meet academic requirements. Various IT companies visit the campus with various internship opportunities. Other core branch students have to apply for internships individually.

Placement Experience

Institute placements cell offers various placements possibilities with number of companies visiting the campus every year with handsome packages. Salaries for IT students are comparatively high. However, limited opportunities are there for other core branches.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee has been raising steadily. The cost of study are relatively constant as most of the material for studies is provided by faculties. Various scholarships are available on basis of merit. Some special scholarships are available to reserved student candidates only.

Campus Life

Various clubs are there in the campus for overall development of students ranging from sports, music, art, coding etc. All activities are within reach. Various fests are organized throughout the year, which offers various opportunities for students to socialize.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel life is the best aspect of college life. And institute's hostels were equipped with various modern infrastructure to support students. Hostels are easily available for students. Regular cleaning of hostel rooms is there.

Chandigarh University - My experience from fees to social life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and cover every aspects of learning and skills needed in today's time but it feels the semester get over to fast in around 3.5 months with 3 exams and lab exam. They should provide the real learning based on a student interest some student are good in coding but they lack to communicate better, they should focus on that part also as they also do in many cases by giving subjects like soft skills and communication skills every sem.The teacher should not be reading the ppt only . We can do that also why we are paying that much fees just to learn from a teacher who is just reading the slides.

Placement Experience:

My plan is to pursue masters but placements at LPU are best. Over 100 tech comapnies have tie-ups with our university and all of them are of highest regard. From Code tech to Flipkart and Google every big tech company come to our campus. Student have bagged packages close to 1 crores as well from LPU campus.

A good campus.

amazing college life with full of fun and enjoyment

I choose b Pharmacy cause i want to learn about the medicine I take also it helps me in better understanding how the chemicals work as we take medicine and also some other chemical properties improvement should be done in the case of more Pratical work as it should give us more and more pratical work rather then theory part . The best out of best about iit ropar

I applied to iit gandhinagar electrical engineering and got rejected as my jee advanced rank was not as par as required to take the course.the admission process of our college is based on an examination called jee advanced and if u get a good rank and pass that examination u can enter our college.i also applied for iit hyd,iit jodhpur etc in which I have got an admission in another branch as I said earlier as I like the electrical engineering branch I joined iit ropar .or college might be worst in sports in comparison to other iits but they are always better than other iits in reasearch orientation side...Read More
