The college was closer to my home, currently in Punjab, it has lush green area, being eco-friendly and it provided a good exposure. The admission was done by JEE Advanced examination and I joined the campus from 12/11/20. I preferred college dunia Blog and also took review from Quora to select this college.

it's my rank in entrance exam. With 440 rank in iit jam I got iit ropar that's why I choose it. Further I thought of choosing IIT because of the healthy environment and project in 2nd year. This project is very helpful in phd.

Nice location, good ranking and an IIT, and best in new iits. also close to my home state rajasthan, good campus, nice hostels that's why I chose iit ropar. And campus is present at very good location.

With 2008 establishment the College has its own permanent campus with 525 acer of land. The infrastructure provided here are fantastic with fully Air conditioner lecture halls and 24*7 working Computer labs and Library. However the market is far from the campus but the college has arranged its own buses for it.

I Was Alloted This College During Councelling, I Had Also Filled Other Colleges In Councelling But Wasn'T Able To Get Them, I Had A Discussion With Few Mentors And They Also Agreed That Based On All The Choices I Have This Is The Best

Good for circuit designers and all faculty for vlsi is from IIT bombay. Nice exposure available here and faculty give attention to scholars. Near to you home city. Admission was based on gate score followed by written exam and finally selection was made on the basis of interview.

The college being a premier institute of country with sophisticated technology and facilities intruguied me. The goodwill of IITs are much higher than most of the institutes in our country. Personally I selected this college after getting rejected from previously mentioned 4 IITs due to mismatch between area of researches. The i scanned the profiles of various professors and found one at IIT Ropar. Luckily, I got selection also.This Institute is yet growing and in comparison to earlier established IITs it yet lag behind in many terms. The openness in terms if attitude among students is like some third grade universities. College infrastructure is fine but still after 12 years of establishment IIT Rpr havent been able to merge its Transit campus into Main campus. Student at IIT Rpr main campus enjoy all modern facilities yet student at Transit campus share room with other guy even at PhD level.Being new campus with less students is a favourable point due to student faculty ratio and the institute is also performing in national and international educational institue ranking.The college is situated at outskirts of Ropar district making it difficult to commute to market on regular basis.

JEE Councelling depends on the date of JEE Advanced Examination. Roughly it will be 1 month after the exam. You can go to official website of IIT Ropar to know more details. The college is progressing at a faster rate compared to other IITs. So in the long run it will have a greater edge.
