Likes
- Infrastructure is very good as the University has an area of 600 acres.
- Funding for innovation, new ideas and healthy atmosphere
- Faculty is also very good ,most of the teachers are phd holders.
Dislikes
- Fees is comparatively high to the facilities they provide
- No screening process in taking admission so most of students around you are idiots
- Lack of entusiasm in teaching ,as there is no 75%attendance rule
Course Curriculum Overview:
I am pursuing Btech in Electronics and communication Engineering. Its very relevant in today's time. We are learing about semi conductors ,circuits ,vlsi designing which is used in every electronic component. This course is little bit difficult and you have to learn a lot in communication subject ,and there are mid term and end term examinations too. And you also have to make real life projects ,to do well in this field.

- University is very huge in itself. The campus life here is also very good.
- There is an extensive library with a vast collection of the books and journals of each type as required by student. The reading hall of the library is open 24 x 7 and you can study there peacefully.
- There are a large number of canteens present in the university with various varieties of delicious food.
Dislikes
- Hostel rooms are somewhat congested but once you start living there it doesn't feel difficult.
- Talking about washroom in boys hostel 1, it is very difficult to find cleanliness there.
- The teaching pattern should be changed and more focus should be on practical things rather theory.
Placement Experience:
Students generally become eligible for campus placements in 7th Semester.
Major Recruiter companies for campus placements include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, KPMG, Accenture
For the academic session Batch 2023-24, Highest Package was 18.43 lakhs and the average package was 6.40 lakhs.
Overall placement rate for b.tech. cse is around 80-85%.

- Teacher give time to everyone in the class.
- Less number of students that means more interaction with the class and teachers.
- Close to my hometown batala and also its cheaper then the other cities.
Dislikes
- No extracurricular activites as compared to other universities
- No events, no seminars, no exposure is there.
- Teachers mentality is very orthodox and they are not that much friendlier.
Placement Experience:
The placements are good but average package is not that high its just 3.5 LPA but several companies come for placements like TCS, AMDOCKS, WIPRO, INFOSYS.
As it was recession this year most
Of the companies did not came.

- Campus is very big and the infrastructure is very good
- The return of investment is good and there are many more co Carricular activities you can take part in.
- The sports facility provided by the university is very good.
Dislikes
- The average pakage is not very good although the return of investment is good.
- The teaching facility is nice but many suject teachers take very few classes and just provide notes only.
- The department of computer and engineering need some renovation.
Placement Experience:
the placement opportunities provided by the university is good but still the package offered is very less. the average package varies from 5 lpa to 7.5lpa which gives a good return of investment. the top companies are zscaler, tcs, amazon etc.

- The environment of the university is very green and positive .it has greenery which attracted me the most at the time of admission.
- Being a hosteller ,the campus has everthing needed .no need to go outside the campus for anything.
- The teaching staff as per 1st year was very great.
Dislikes
- Some canteens do not maintain hygiene. The sometimes provide sopiled food as per my one experience
- Sometimes the non teaching staff is not well behaved . Be it security or canteen employees
- The buildings are build from so old times .ac requirement is there .in summers classes feel like very hot and sometimes a person feel very dizzy.
Course Curriculum Overview:
1st year subjects of my course are of no use . chemistry, drawing, like what an engineering student need to do with this. No logic of introducing non-computer subjects. And even in 2nd sem we got python as a subject, but teacher just taught us theory no practical's. The curriculum is better from 2nd Year. The exams are of moderate level.

- Environment was great. Surrounding and greenery makes it look beautiful and mesmerizing.
- Library facility. It has one of the informative books
- Curricular activities makes everybody go beyond there limits.
Dislikes
- Procrastination of teachers. Can be more polite and have wisdom.
- Rude behaviour of employees makes student difficult to communicate.
- Documentations can take days to be completed.
Placement Experience:
In 7th semester students are eligible for the campus placement various companies come for the placements around 13 companies visited and number of offers made were for around 20 positions. The highest package of 224 in my college is 13 LPA and the average package is 4 lpa. Only 10% of students get place this year. I got my placement so after my degree I would probably be joining the company.

- I love the most is the green and clean environment and now im going to graduate so i will miss this environment
Dislikes
- Like other govt things you will also have to wait so long for some basic facilities
- Behaviours of some guards are not good. They are not polite at all

7th semester students are eligible for placement and the placement start from starting of 7th semester. The popular companies visited in 23-24. Are TCS, accenture, Kpmg, stylumia, amdocs and many more but in this year due to down fall of market The less no of hiring was in companies

- There are limited seats not like private universities having students in large numbers
- Students are eligible based on their JEE rank
- Library is amazing as it has aur conditioned labs and reading rooms with quiet atmosphere.
Dislikes
- Average package is quite low as it is 700000 and lowest package might be 200000
- The conditions of hostels are not much good especially for 1st and 2nd year students
- The infrastructure is very poor as it is very old University
Placement Experience:
Tum 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements.
Companies like TCS KPMG capegmini Bhel Amazon visit the campus the highest package for computer science students is 40 lakh and for EC it is 14 to 15 lakh and the average packages 7lacs and the lowest packages 2lacs
6270% of the students are placed and rest go for masters or banking. I would do masters after doing this degree

- A big campus with full Greenery and many canteens situated in every area of campus
- An air conditioned library with big reading rooms for approx 500 students at a time
Dislikes
- Teaching staff irresponsible sometimes but sometimes maybe good
- Infrastructure is so bad around 30 years old building

Companies start coming in the 7th semester and after training in 8th sbemester students are olaced

- Administrative are amazing, they teaches you everything according to your needs .
- Canteen faculty are good, every department,every hostel have their own canteen faculty
- Study are fantastic, Labs are perfect, teachers help you out for everything,no matter how many time you ask your doubts.

Usually students were eligible for placement in After the result of 6th semester.
The Trending it companies like Wipro technologies, Infosys, comes for placement they offer min.upto 50 place
Percentage of students getting plaved min.is 6cgpa .. more the seeking of knowledge not the cgpa
