GNDU Scholarship 2026

Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU) offers various scholarship opportunities and financial assistance to students based on need, category, and academic performance. Scholarships are primarily available for SC/ST, OBC, and economically weaker sections, with many receiving full or partial fee waivers. The Post Matric Scholarship by the Punjab government is available for reserved category students, and the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar scholarship aids SC/ST students. Financial aid is also available for students with family incomes below certain thresholds, such as 2-3 lakhs per annum.

Additionally, GNDU provides merit-based scholarships and fee concessions for siblings studying at the university. Tuition fees vary by course and semester, with odd semesters generally costing more than even semesters, and the total cost for courses like B.Tech ranging from 6-8 lakhs over four years. Hostel fees are about 20,000 per year with additional mess charges. Despite the availability of scholarships, students from general categories often find limited financial assistance options.
