- There are limited seats not like private universities having students in large numbers
- Students are eligible based on their JEE rank
- Library is amazing as it has aur conditioned labs and reading rooms with quiet atmosphere.
Dislikes
- Average package is quite low as it is 700000 and lowest package might be 200000
- The conditions of hostels are not much good especially for 1st and 2nd year students
- The infrastructure is very poor as it is very old University
Course Curriculum Overview
I always had interest in hardware industry. I was always curious about electronic gadgets what are the made of how the circuit is designed so I chose ECE . The curriculum prepares us very well for real life application as there regular project making work , workshop, summer internship. The curriculum is quite old and needs to be updated as there are some portions which are not needed. Every semester there are 2 exams Minors that are mid term exams of 20 marks and Majors that are end term exams of 80 marks difficulty level is easy to medium

Wheather I am in ece or in CSe I have a lot of options regarding my placement I can even go for software company or for hardware company. Rose offer might be database engineer electrical engineer electronic communication labs
Placement Experience
Tum 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS KPMG capegmini Bhel Amazon visit the campus the highest package for computer science students is 40 lakh and for EC it is 14 to 15 lakh and the average packages 7lacs and the lowest packages 2lacs 6270% of the students are placed and rest go for masters or banking. I would do masters after doing this degree
Fees and Financial Aid
tution fee of odd semester is nearly 75000 and even semester is nearly 55000 and there is examination fee of 2400 per sem For 4 years of my degree total cost would be nearly 5.5 lacs the tuition fees increased per year for new student but the amount increase is not much scholarships for sibling cases and SC ST scholarship single parents scholarships are available
Campus Life
There are annual and technical fest in the university . Inter college test like youth festival is held in university and inter departmental fest like jashan are there . Electronics department has been separate fest named as Tachyon. The library is so big and it is covered with books in every corner and there are many facilities for issuing book digitally there are air condition reading halls and labs. Admission
The application form to apply for the registration is available on the website of GNDU the minimum percentile to apply for computer science engineering is 80 and for ece it is 60. For rest of the branches it is easy to get admission even without the JEE rank. Every year there are two exams minors that are midterm exams and nature that are international minors are of 20 marks and measures are of 80 marks and their practicals of some subject and the difficulty level is between easy and medium its not that hard
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio per class is 1:10 Teachers are very much cooperative and help us to explore. The are always ready to answer are questions. We can interact with them in their free time by asking for it otherwise seperate tutorial classes are there for every subject in which we can ask our doubts
