Course Curriculum Overview

3

1st year subjects of my course are of no use . chemistry, drawing, like what an engineering student need to do with this. No logic of introducing non-computer subjects. And even in 2nd sem we got python as a subject, but teacher just taught us theory no practical's. The curriculum is better from 2nd Year. The exams are of moderate level.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

In the starting we had a counseling session assuring us 100%placement but seeing the placements of previous year students i think chances of placement are very low . Although the companies that come give average packages .

Fees and Financial Aid

I am of sc category and i applied for post matric scholarship and lucking got approved . Being a middle class family it was hard to pay 150000 rupees per year . But luckily now government pay my scholarship and now i have paid my fees in 2 installments and 1 installment is left which will be paid by 12 June.

Campus Life

4

The campus in itself a place a student would admire as their future university. It has playgrounds, gym, hospital, grocery store, salon, fruits shop and what not. I mean a hosteller will not face any issue living here. The buildings are old which makes the rooms temperature very low . All in all it is a good experience as for now.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel buildings were made in old times which benifits them now by maintaining the temperature of rooms low. The mess has meals which are hygienic but not very tasty . And they repeat the same menu every week. Registrationsopen from the june and the students living at longer distances get more preference. Hostel rooms are conjusted though. It has 2 ,3 and sitter. A student cna bring their cooler with the permission and advance payment for the electricity bill.i would not recommended to take a pg near university as it not safe for girls but boys can go for pg near university.

Admission

First application form should be filled then they give us dates of counseling and for cse course jee mains marks are preferred . For ce course department has its own entrance exam . I got my admission with the jee mains percentile and cutoff is fair enough to be honest . Even though students with rank over 5,00,000 also got admission .

Faculty

3.5

The faculty members for the first year are good but the problem is in first year classes students are a lot as compared to teachers . Each class having 120 students especially in dcet department. Thus not every student gets attention by teacher.

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.
