The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

An insightful review of L.L.B program at CU

Likes

Faculty & teaching the faculty for the L.L.B program is knowledgeable and supportive. Most teachers explain legal concepts clearly with practical examples and case laws.
Infrastructure & campus life the University has good infrastructure including smart classroom, liberary facilities, and a well-maintained campus.
Student environment & ratio the student crowd is diverse and interaction with peers is healthy. The girls-to-boys ratio is fairly balanced approximately 45:55 which creates a comfortable classroom environment

Dislikes

Large batch size duw to relatively large number of students individual attention from faculty can sometimes be limited
Placement support for law placement for L.L.B students are limited compared to professional courses.
Administration delays at time administration processes like documentation and approval can be slow.better cordination between department would make the student experience smoother

Course Curriculum Overview:

The LLB curriculum at Chandigarh University is relevant and fairly comprehensive. The course includes subject such as constitutional of criminal civil procedure and legal writing which were important factor in choosing the program. The curriculum focus on building a strong critical base along with basic critical exposure. The syllabus helps student understand legal concept clearly and prepare them for internship for studies and competitive exams. Internal assessment, presentation and assignment. Encourage regular learning and improve analytical and research skills. 1 area of improvement could be increasing practical exposure through more "activities, internship and real life case discussion overall the well structured and suitable for student who were serious about a carrier in law while still leaving scope for self learning and skill development

Nature of faculty is very good helping and understandable
Teaching methods is very good practicle knowledge with live case example is provided
Way of understanding is good you can keep every kind of problem in front of them they are very understanding snd helpful

Dislikes

Sometime they make delay in the visit like jail police station but they take
Sometime water cooler doest work much well but on complaining they resolve
Keep yourself updated with syllabus and keep on studing by yourself because some time you dont get faculty for optional subject

The course is best in terms of Cirriculam time to time debate is organized moot court are held for the practice competition are conducted on the college and state level to get connect with society social visits are made too

A MUST HAVE INFO ABOUT CU

Likes

The faculty is so supporting. they coprate with us positivily
the way of teaching is mostly online so no need to always carry a heavy books everywhere
the infrasturucture is amazing the college is so beautiful and vibrant

Dislikes

as area where college is situated is so backward as it is in village so need to develop the area across it
as am a hostaller so mess food is averge actully not always but some of the times
as fees is too muvh and even incresing in each semester

The chandigarh university is mainly known for the extracurricular as they celebrates each od the religion festival even its national or internationl. the culure is vibratv and all the festvals are really amazing

Chandigarh University - A Great College Experience

I liked the infrastructure of the Law Department I.e UILS. For the first two years we were in an old block
I liked the teachers and the department heads were also w=very supported and helping.
The website and online content provided helped us in tracking our day to day attendance and assignments

Dislikes

I didn't like the security system in college. The guards were disrespectful and not very helpful.
The parking space of students was not provided in college and we had to park on roads and uneven grounds in village surrounding CU.
The detain system i.e if you don't have 75% attendace you need to sit extra one month between semester and give MSTs, assignment

Placement Experience:

In our college student become elgible for placement from 9th semester onwards i.e the second last semester. Many law firms and private companies and banks visit our colege like HDFC bank,HCL and many private firms and offers range from 4LPA to 6LPA. The highest package offered in our department was of 21LPA and average package is 3.5-4LPA. About 50-60% students get campus placements and rest opt for private consultation on out of campus interviews for better oppurtunities. Otherwise CU give gives guarantee they can get 100% placemn=ent of they go through TPA i.e the placement department After getting the degree I aspire to join law firm in my own family and work under the.

Law department of Chandigarh University

Likes

The infrastructure of this university is quite good. Also talking about the fest and other events, there are numerous events conducted by the university, at both departmental level and university level.
The university encourages the students to take parts in academic events especially moot courts, debates etc. This boosts the students confidence level.
Encourage the students to do internships.

Dislikes

Mostly professors are very unprofessional. They themselves are graduated from this university and do not possess the knowledge to teach the students.
The fees structure is quite high. And they try to cut down the scholarships of students.
The 75% attendance criteria is insane. They want students to get detained and pay 10,000 to sit in the exam hall. Moreover every student have to be in university till 5 pm. And they can not do anything afterwords nor internships.

Placement Experience:

The placement is almost negligible in law department. Around 25-30 students get places every batch and thats from all law department. Bcom llb, bba llb, ba llb, llb. The placement record is false in the website, as this university is a private one they mostly focus on getting profit and luring as many students as they can to get admission here.

There are total 3 exams in a semester and there are easy . There are many fests in the campus whivh happens which might be a distraction to the students but if you have self control then you can study

Distance from Chandigarh no ac in classroom
Strictness related to dress and for coming late
Gate closes at sharp 9.35 am it has a very big campus time consuming

The course curriculum is quite nice as it give some time to students to get through the books by himself and can develop the quality of self sufficiency every Saturday is off and the holidays are very less and there is an one hour break after 4 classes

the infrastructure of the college is world class level with all the modern technology and excess to the outside world opportunities and also the department is workinga lot for the welfare of the students
All thorough the semester there are various kinds of activites going around inside the college providing us the exposure
the campus is quite clean and there is proper arrangement of security

Dislikes

The institution behaves like it lacks money and is in a desperate need of money
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now
the crowd of the university is not that much concerned about their future

Placement Experience:

The students are elligible for campus placements from 4th year onwards. The average package that is offered is of 6-7 LPA and can go to 12LPA. Although most of the students don't sit for palcements as mostly go fot litigation or higher studies

My deep hearted review for the Chandigarh University

Likes

Very nice infrastructure and classes are very nice and each department is organised perfectly
There is no inconvenience caused to the students in any type of work
As for placements preparation there is proper University career management cell they prepare each student for the interview for the placements and internship opportunities are also provided to the students in the end of every semester

Dislikes

There are very few things that are to be disliked for this University
The departments are very much far away from one place to another but now there's a taxi service from one department to another you can book online
As i said the departments are very far far from places so if you have any work for the signatures on the documents you have to prepared for going from one place to another

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for their placements in last semester. The companies visit for the offer for the students are wipro tech Mahindra and many more renowned firms. The highest package in law is offered of rupees 6 to 7 lakh annual package The percentage of students getting placements is 70% of students those who crack the interviews of the companies. My plans after degree are preparing for the govt. Exams.

UILs - A Once in a Lifetime Experience

Likes

Overall Infrastructure is good very good.
The Campus is one of the most beautiful places to stay.
The moot coury Hall is nicely built. Classrooms are big and spacious.

Dislikes

The teachers are not that good and experienced.
Water Coolers are not available on all floors.
ACs are not available in classrooms. It gets very hot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is not that well designed. The Subjects are not being taught for real-world applications. Especially B.Com LLb is being taught as unwillingly. They don't care for B.com LLb students at all. Teachers available for B.com are very poorly qualified as compared to B.A LLb Teachers. Frequency of Exams is good. But Presentations can be a bit Time Consuming.

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
