- Strong faculty: vssut is reputed for its experienced faculty members who are often experts in their respective fields.
- The college also organises fest which also is a good source of enjoyment and bliss.
- Campus employment opportunities are quite good.vssut provide internship opportunities along with good support from professors also.scholarship facilities are also provided for reserved castes and for general category also who are eligible.
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities are not so good and the food is also of low quality which is very difficult to eat.
- The hostel and mess. there is corruption in the mess. the mess secretaries are given money to stop students for complaining.
- The conditions of mess and hostel have been worse and it's been degrading day by day. this could have been better.

- One thing is that enjoyment. In our college there is minor seminar classes are held in a month.

The eligibility criteria for campus placement is to secure at least 7.5 cgpa in last semester exam.The companies visited in our college are Infosys,TCS,Tata motor, Ultratech,Mahindra etc.The percentage of student getting placement is 75 percent.

- The swimming pool and gym are near the swimming pool is daily cleaned by workers . college is situated near Sambalpur transportation facility is good .hostel are nearer to college.we go daily by walking.hostel have its own shop inside you can buy any
- Ground available for playing college have own club
- College professors all are experienced .

- No basketball field inside the college .
- College toilet not cleaned and water some time not available
- College attendance needed 75 percentage for exam

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement.company like Suzuki TCS Amazon cisco and credit susse. Etc mechanical and electrical engineering get 98 percentage placement and other students get non it sector

- Good environment and good placed in college at Sambalpur ,burla
- Best placement and job opportunities is maximum and average package 6 lak
- Many branches are their and teachings quality high
Dislikes
- Bad hostel food and hostel room with bathroom
- Bad placement ratio with ratio 80 persentage
- Hostel and college distance is maximum so problem to Go college
Placement Experience:
In our college is provided good placement and also provide good package average 6 lak .
After completing the 4 semester then eligible for placement seating.
In vssut comes many companies like TCS, JWS,TATA,NALCO, WIPRO,etc.
Highest package is 16 lak but inthis year one student get 47 lak package
And average package is 6 Lak
80% students get placement and other students go to gate exam preparation
I became a scientist in ISRO or DRDO

- I liked the campus. It is little bit interesting and greenary everywhere.
- Girls to boys ratio is 7:4 . Students are coming from outside odisha also. That's impressive.
- Course curriculum is ok . Interaction is good and core placements is better than cs placement.
Dislikes
- I disliked the old infrastructure and small events.
- Engagement in campus life should be more fun and attractive. Assignment during exam time is just so heptic.
- Learning classes should be big. Hostel food can be improved.
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester students are eligible for internships and 7 and 8 semester is for jobs . But we can start from 2nd semester also. It only depends on students. Lowest placement is 3-4lpa. And average is 5-6 lpa . Higher one 43lpa. Number of companies visited is quite good. My plans is getting a govt job.

- The thing I liked the most about the college is its Infrastructure. Although its an old college it has maintained the infrastructure so well. It provide so many amenities and learning facilities . It consist of all the labs.
- The college is placed out of city's hustle bustle. Providing a calm environment for students to study.
- This university hires highly exprienced faculties. They have good teaching method and mentorship quality.
Dislikes
- The college has a bit rules and regulation regarding hostels, which are bit disturbing.
- The Senior junior culture is much more practiced in this college.
- The instruments placed in the labs are bit old so they should be replaced.
Placement Experience:
The last two semester students are eligible for placement. Many companies such as maruti motors, tata motors, Accentures, Deoloitte, Polaris, Wipro, Ashok Leyland, Larsen & Tourbo Ltd. etc. There are so many placements offered to students.Last the highest package was 18 lpa and average package was 6 lpa.About 90% of students are getting placed from this college.My plans after getting degree is to get a good package.

- Faculty is highly experienced.Many of them have completed their masters or phd from various IITs
- A lot scope is provided in the college in various sectors like in sports, innovation, etc..
- Surrounding is very nice and very adorable for study purposes
Dislikes
- Strict curriculum and strict rules and regulations
- Food in the hostel mess is bad.Better option will be staying in PGs nearby the college
- U will be hardly trained which is often nice for an engineer.No relaxations..
Course Curriculum Overview:
Curriculum will teach the students the art of time management, discipline in life, punctuality and also reality..just after 1 and half a month of mid sem there will be end sem..so no one will be getting a chance to escape the matrix or to loose the touch from studies..

Many companies are visited into the college like tata,jindal, Google, Microsoft and Amazon and many more.

Here is a detailed review of the Electrical Engineering Department of VSSUT Burla based on my friend experience who is an alumnus of the same
- VSSUT is among the top colleges in the state and Electrical Engineering is one of the best branches.
- The branch offers a tremendous learning scope with decent lab facilities.
- The branch has a decent number of permanent faculty.
- VSSUT placement scenario however is not that good although it’s better compared to other top colleges in the state.
- The M.Tech students are asked to supervise labs which isn’t a good practice because they are mostly fresh out of engineering colleges and lack expectations
Electrical Engineering from VSSUT is a good choice if you are interested in the field and are willing to invest extra effort in your studies.
