Insights of VSSUT

Course curriculum is same as other colleges. It's University by the way it has great curriculum activities. Workload should be less. Frequency of exams in 1st and 2nd semester was hell. And timings are short.

Internship opportunities are available after 2nd year. You can join in any internship provided by college itself. L&T construction, TCS has large role in jobs and placements.many other companies are also visiting every year.

From 6th semester students are eligible for internships and 7 and 8 semester is for jobs . But we can start from 2nd semester also. It only depends on students. Lowest placement is 3-4lpa. And average is 5-6 lpa . Higher one 43lpa. Number of companies visited is quite good. My plans is getting a govt job.

Total cost is around 79,000Rs. Which include college fees(31,000Rs) and hostel fees(48,000Rs) . A little price has increased from last year. All scholarship are available and you can apply through college scholarship management office. SSC course cost is around 1,40,000Rs per year.

Annual festival is celebrated along with many tech fests and annual sports is also available. A lot of clubs are there . You can join in any of it as of your choice. Students portal network is quite large. .

A room is consist of 2 tables,2chairs , 3 bedsheet for each one , two closets , one fan. 3 toilet and 3 bathrooms for 5 rooms . Meal quality is better. Registration process are systematic. You can rent room in local also.

I was applied many other govt colleges like ouat bhubaneswar, nit Rourkela and this one . I got ouat and vssut. But I chose it in terms of placements and research. Admission process is way discipline rather than other colleges. Cutoff is also increasing every year.

Except few Many faculties are awesome and have great teaching style. They are really cooperative and have helping nature. Course structure is good but 1st year exam system and timings are freaking our nights. I think 2nd year and further on it's going to be easy for us. Marking schemes are appreciated.

Gd are great. Icebreaker system is very satisfying. Interview is quite useful . Pre placement session is really helpful. Process and criteria is maintaining good cgpa . That only can make you eligible for interview.

Gyms are available after 3rd year only. A large swimming pool is also there . Cafeteria, Library is also provided inside campus. Hostel timings for boys is 11pm and for girls it's strict a lot. Many hangout places are also present.
