Seats remaining unfilled under special reservation may be filled up by allotting the same to students belonging to Open Category.

Good in every way a student could ask for

Likes

The aspect of the colleges I appreciated it’s the faculty the environment the way they treated us.
Social interaction are very good as besides teaching the staff faculty interact with us talk about our personal life
Faculty expertise are too good as not only because of the qualifications they have of course because of their good qualifications

Dislikes

Small campus as we have only one veranda and everyone as to be there it got just too congested
Second as it is small so we have three buildings we have to go far to reach our classroom
Third it’s the facility provided in the room only table chairs

Students view on course curriculum

Course curriculum is too good. As we are in M.A what they are teaching us is according to our need. After finishing M.A all would want to do phd and in our M.A we have researched methodology helping us to understand thesis more how to do it from now . Everything needed for competitive examination which are included in this course according to me there is nothing needed for improvement as it is provided with everything , difficulty level provided in the exam it's hard especially when there is no gap and we have to complete within a week the question they ask is all from book so we need to be thurrer with each sentence in the book

Fees of the course per semester and scholarship provided in the college

It's a private university and we are required to pay 20000, per semester and we have to pay extra with all the other needs if anything have to come out activities or anything we have to pay from ourselves , the cations fees is 50000 this is the fees we have to pay before returning but this fees will be returnnin back once we're done or completed the course , other batmatch for them it's costly as they don't belong from humanities. For example M.B.A student they have to pay 35000 per semester but it's costly for them because they are being taken for industry visits and all. Ahh scholarships are being provided every year especially we get so much of help from central government.

Students view on campus life

Overall experience is overwhelming, friends staff all we're good everything provided and giving us. We hahave programs called impasto every year which is started in month of July. To make sure we not only study but are good in other activities also.. ahh we only have this programme so according to me If they could give more programs for us to strengthen our mental ability like twice in a year too would be enough

Students view on faculties

Our faculty all are phd holders and have 10 plus years of teaching .. all our faculty are very good they joke with us only after teaching but when it comes to teaching they teach and make sure even we understand it better ... interacting with our teachers anytime we can talk approach even with our personal problems always ready to help with our personal and professional life

Eligibility criteria to get admission in the college

Eligibility of my couse is to complete graduation in English with a first class, to find the application form We can directly go the university website and it will be provided with all the details,, eligibility process for admission in this university is entrance examination and interview and they'll ask according to our syllabus the questions ... in this university they don't have any observations as they only ask According to our entrance along with interviews

Admission:

I thought of taking admission in Shillong college but the semester fees is expensive and my family cannot afford to pay the semester fees.. So I choose this college because the semester fees can affordable and the university provide an internship for the student after every 2 semester which will help the student to get experience in the field that they are studying.. The university provide a placement for the student who clear there papers from the first semester till the last semester of their course.. Unlike others colleges this college doesn't need an entrance exam to get admission and the eligibility are 50% above.. But others college needed an entrance exams like cuet to get admission

I chose this college because it was less expensive than the other colleges and it was a first come first serve addmission system. The other colleges only took students who wrote the entrance exam of CUET.

I like how it's doing it's best to make student enjoy it's degree to the fullest by having programs.

Dislikes

I hate the way facilities work. I don't like the interior.

Admission:

I chose ICFAI college because it's in my home town making it affordable for me. The course fee is pretty much affordable compared to other colleges. I tried applying to Mizoram University but had to opt it out as it was far from where I reside and I couldn't afford the course fee

Likes

Good environment and the friends I made here are very good and responsible and very encouraging. They makes me happy and supports me and encourage me when I was feeling low .

Dislikes

No proper available books on the library
Infrastructure and the campus is very small
No proper electricity facilities and classroom

Admission:

I chose this University over other Universities as this is the only University in Meghalaya which is affordable and good for me as being belonging from a farmer family I am not able to afford in other Private Universities.

No, there is no entrance examination for admission to B.Com. The admission to the course is done based on Screening of Application and Personal Interview.
