The course of BBA is general for the first two years. During this course, you will have theoretical classes as well as two summer internship programs. As you enter your third year, you will have an idea of what fields interest you- Finance, Marketing, HR, operations, etc. You can then choose your electives for the third year accordingly. The college gives you enough time to choose your subjects according to your interests. Here is a breakdown of the assessments that happen in one semester at ibs: first two months of the semester: Classes+ MCQ-based questions Third month: Classes + mid sem exams Fourth month: Classes + group projects submissions Fifth month: End semester exams. This can be quite stressful at first. time management is they key here :)

1. The inclusion of practical, industry specific subjects like Business analysis, Strategic management, Digital marketing significally influenced my decision to choose this course. 2.Well designed curriculum emphasize hands on projects, internships and live industry assignments. These experiences prepared me for real world challenges and enhanced the employability. 3.While technical knowledge is essential , placement related knowledge, atleast one software language, soft skills like leadership are equally vital. The curriculum could include modules or workshops on these aspects. 4. Exams are challenging but fair. Students who actively participate in class case study discussions and engage in group discussions tend to do fare better.

The curriculum is designed in a very practical way which really helps you to work in competitive and hectic situations. You really dont get time to prepare for the examinations. Talking about the subjects, they are very similar to what other business schools teaches, but case studies are something which creates difference. The faculties are also very decent, but as there are huge intake, so there are also good number of teachers, and not all of them are excellent, but you can manage it with self-studies.

I chose this course cause I want to start my own fashion firm, and I want to have handover management and administration. the curriculum covers almost every aspect of business administration. we have 7 to 8 courses each semester and 6 semesters in total. though the syllabus is lengthy, it is interesting. there are 4 exams for each semester, one of them usually an assignment. the exams are pretty easy to pass.

Also, the students will have to pay a convocation fee of INR 4,000 in the 5th semester.
IBS Hyderabad MBA fees are definitely very high around ?5.25 L - 16.02 L and a middle-class man may not afford it. So unless you can get a scholarship I don’t think it’s a wise decision to spend your savings or even take up a loan for such a college. Taking a loan is risky way because you might not necessarily be able to land a package enough to repay the loan and it may take years to do so.
There are many other higher-ranked B Schools with less expensive fees, try targeting them. Go for IBS Hyderabad only when you have no other option and you are ready to face the risk of loan repayment.
No doubt IBS Hyderabad is well known for its quality of education, pedagogy, and infrastructure. The mess of food was like no other college. I think it’s these factors that attract students from all over India despite the high fees. So make a decision after weighing all the pros and cons.
