During the PI round, the candidate was asked a mix of motivational, academic, and current affairs–based questions, including Why MBA, the difference between real and nominal GDP, India’s GDP, and the current Finance Minister of India. When asked about specialization preferences, the candidate mentioned an inclination towards Finance, citing relevant subjects studied during their undergraduate program. No, admissions are not possible now as they have closed. The last date of selection process was 7th April. Now, the admissions will resume next year only.
Candidates must have a Graduate degree in any discipline with 50% marks (45% marks Reserved Categories). The candidates waiting for their final year results are also eligible to apply. However, the student must maintain 50% marks in the degree course. Such candidates need to complete their degree examinations before July of admission year and are required to produce proof of passing the Degree examination with the minimum required marks of 50%, latest by September of admission year. Applicants who have any un-cleared backlog in graduation at the time of application are not eligible. Final selection for PGDM in XIME Bangalore will be on the overall assessment of candidates in Group Discussion, Personal Interview, Academic Background, Extra-curricular, and Diversity. The weights of various criteria are: Academic Performance- 13%, Entrance Exam Score- 35%, Group Discussion & Personal Interview- 40%, Sports, Extra-Curricular Activities, Academic Diversity and Gender Diversity- 12%. The first year fee is INR 6.50 Lakhs, and the second year fee will be INR 6 lakhs.
