IBS Hyderabad is too good to be true!

Likes

Dean operates the placements cell and therefore it monitoring it and makes sure maximum students are placed.
There are many roofs in the campus and therefore one can find shade to sit and have a word with friends.
Every year a concert night takes place at our campus.

Dislikes

Clubs and all have a limitation of recruiting only 50 students per year in single year.

I applied at Manipal and Symbiosis Pune and had admissions from all three including ICFAI. But IBS Somehow because of the campus and city too as Hyderbad is the next gen of metro cities in India I took my chances here.

IBS is only for intellectuals!!

Likes

Ours is second best private college in the country for management studies.
Fees is so reasonable and also banks readily offer loans to students who wants to pursue studies from here.
For certification and training programs the college has made tie-ups with foreign universities and NGOs as well.

Dislikes

The basic fees is less but there are many stretches that takes it to atleast 50k more every year.

Admission:

I applied at many like Symbiosis, LSR and Christ and I had admissions every where. IBS is way above them and therefore I took the admission the very next day I got a call from IBS, Hyderabad. I did best as it is indeed the best college in country to learn entrepreneurship.

Like in other colleges there would be no open gates but our College has open gates were it is very useful for the students and teachers. But other colleges has good faculty management but it lacks in our clg

College for memories is fine but not for education

Infrastructure , The College is situated around 96 acres totally pecefull environment ..its a big college so you could roam inside the college itself wanting some peace
People, Coming to people we find many types of people class,mass ...in BBA there are quiet well mannered people too
Faculty , Well mannered faculty not everyone but i find professionals in the campus

Dislikes

management ... way too worst to handle things
faculty there are even worst faculty who have knowledge but not common sense
way too much price for backlogs and summer term

i wanted to get into (GRIET,VNR VJIET] but none of the college gave me admsssion because of my intermediate percetnage required to get a cse seat ...so i was planning to go germany but apprently my dad wanted to visit ibs so we went and that vibe of ibs earlier i just saw the college and was like damn i'm getting in this college only and i joined off here.... admission process:- pay 10k as admission fees , wait for 1 week and then pay 1st sem fees + security deposit (20k) thats it

The study material of IBS Hyderabad was very impressive. All the case studies were based on similar methodology of Harvard Business School's case studies. Also, IBS Hyderabad also has its own case studies and research centre.
The campus. IBS Hyderabad has a lush green campus.

Admission:

I took CAT exam and applied to many colleges that offered MBA. Picking IBS Hyderabad over other colleges was a better choice because of the kind of methodology the college offers, the campus, the faculty and more.

Academics, internship and Life at IBS Hyderabad

Likes

The college has students from different regions, do erse environment. The girls to boys ratio is somewhere around 4:60
The teachers are highly knowledgeable. They not only excel in subject matter but also encourage student participation
The college is very spacious, it's called the green campus. The class are very well equipped with modern infrastructure

Dislikes

The schedule is very hectic with assignments, exams, club activities and fests going on every month
The downside is presence of groupism. Which is a bit hard to blend in
Balancing social activities and academic activities can be a bit challenging.

Admission:

I didn't apply to any other colleged since I was focused on OBS Hyderabad. The addmission process is straightforward. You can apply through CAT, NMAT and IBSAT with IBSAT offering a scholarship of two lakhs to the eligible students. After filling the admission form which costs around 1800 rupees selected candidates go through the GD ( group discussion) and PI ( personal interview) round. The college provides comprehensive support throughout the process.

Story of BBA students at IBS, Hyderabad

Likes

Other facilities include swimming pool, playground for different sports
Open gates, Various club activities for students to engage in.

Dislikes

Placements for the bba students are not very good
There's no limit to the no of people taken in.
Not many fests and cultural activities for bba students due to the huge strength

Admission:

The eligibility criteria is 12th or intermediate with cgpa of 5.5 and above. The application form is available on the college website. Application fee has to be paid while submitting the form. Walk-in applications are also accepted. After the application students are called for interview. On the day of interview students and parents are called for the seminar which give the details of campus, facilities and other aspects. After that students are called for interviewed in an orderly manner and results are announced. Student registration for the course will be conducted where they get their respective classrooms and subjects and also students will be given access college mail id and SIS( student information systems) where all the things related to course are updated in the site. An induction session of 10 days will be conducted before the official start of the course.

Life at IBS!

Likes

The faculties are supportive and they are ready to clear your queries anytime.
The campus is huge and there's greenery all around and it is very peaceful.
Internship placements are great, over 50 companies visit the campus every year.

Dislikes

There are back to back assessments, once the semester starts, everything just goes in a rush

Admission:

You have to have atleast 50% marks scored in your board exam. You can find the application form at their official website: ifheindia.org There will be a personal interview conducted for the candidate and the selection process will be based on merit and personal interview.

Wonderful Experience at IBS Hyderabad

The campus stretches in across 100 acres Beautiful campus and infrastructure. I loved the faculty and learning experience and numerous growth opportunities. Made lifelong connections, and had a lot of exposure, time-management skills,

Admission:

Eligibility- Minimum 60 % in 12th Grade. Interview on-campus All course and application related details are on the official website. No reservation benefits available Examinations- Twice every semester- Mid-term and End Term Difficulty Level- High IBS H has a smooth application and admission process. In order to ensure smooth onboarding of students, IBS H conducts an extensive induction and helps the students at every step.

What is the recent GD-PI cutoff of IBS Hyderabad?

Firstly IBS Hyderabad does not reveal its ISBAT or GD-PI cutoffs. You are not informed about your individual scores let alone your GD-PI scores. The students who get shortlisted are sent an invitation letter for the GD-PI round. Once you have successfully completed the round and have been selected, GD-PI performance along with the college campus allotted to you. However, these marks serve no purpose of cutoffs and therefore should not be considered a general cutoff. Many candidates who got 98 percentile get selected while many with even 78 percentile. Their criteria is unpredictable and therefore no cutoff is fixed.
