Course Curriculum Overview
The entire course was divided into six semesters and number of subjects in each semester were as below- __ Through Semester 1 to 4 - 8 subjects in each semester Semester 5 to 6 - 7 subjects in each semester. Several case studies and group projects were assigned and presentations and industry expert visits and seminars were organized to make the students ready for the real-world experience. Frequency of examinations- 2 internals + mid term + end term + Presentations for all subjects. Difficulty- medium-high.
Internships Opportunities
Early startups, hdfc, Insurance companies were some of the companies that provided internships. Stipend was between INR 5000- 10000 Two extensive and compulsory internships were required to be undertaken after Year 1 and 2.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible to apply for campus placements in their sixth semester. Companies likes Wells Fargo, HDFC, Dee Shaw, The Business Research Company, etc. Highest Package- 10 LPA. Percentage of students- 20 % After graduation- Gain work experience and pursue my Masters degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition Fee increment- 10% every alternate year. Total Cost- INR 15 ,00 ,000 ( Including Tuition, hostel and food + misc expenses) Scholarships- Academic Scholarships between INR 7500 to 18000 each semester based on performance in 12 th grade. Academic Scholarship of INR 40000 each semester for top 10 % students. Campus Employment- I was a member of the placement and development cell at IBS H. No stipend was allowed.
Campus Life
Several fest and events were organized round the year. IBS H has a beautiful library with a lot of books and reference materials + Harvard business cases. Amazing lecture theatres ( airconditioned and sound-proof) College has basketball, volleyball, cricket, pool, swimming among other activities.
Hostel Facilities
Bed, AC, Table, chair. Beautiful hostels with scenic beauty around. Food was provided by a third-party vendor ( Sodexo). Quality of food was good. Registration done at the time of joining the course. No PGs available nearby.
Admission
Eligibility- Minimum 60 % in 12th Grade. Interview on-campus All course and application related details are on the official website. No reservation benefits available Examinations- Twice every semester- Mid-term and End Term Difficulty Level- High IBS H has a smooth application and admission process. In order to ensure smooth onboarding of students, IBS H conducts an extensive induction and helps the students at every step.
Interview Experience
Academic and concept-specific questions were asked. Topics on GDP, NI Macroeconomics were asked. Process- Application form + interview on-campus once shortlisted. Preparation- Be confident and know your subjects well.
