Likes
- Dean operates the placements cell and therefore it monitoring it and makes sure maximum students are placed.
- There are many roofs in the campus and therefore one can find shade to sit and have a word with friends.
- Every year a concert night takes place at our campus.
Dislikes
- Clubs and all have a limitation of recruiting only 50 students per year in single year.
Course Curriculum Overview
Firstly it was IBS where I wanted to study and then secondly BBA means half the management trade or rather more. Also ours is a fully practical course where two months of 2 intenrships are mandatory. So by th time I graduated I already had two intenrships under my belt. Thus, I consider myself lucky enough to be doing this altogether.
Placement Experience
Highest placement offer from IBS for BBA was of 12 lakhs but average of our batch was around 6 lakhs. All BBA branches put together there were 500 students and 400 of them were easily placed at our campus in companies like Zomato, Farfield, Royal Enfield, Eicher Motors and Tata Coffee among others.
Fees and Financial Aid
IBS Hyderabad is where I finished my UG this year and the fees I paid was 1.15 lakhs per semester. So 2.3 lakhs a year but in first year a 10000 extra as admission fees were charged. Also, hostel fees was 59000 per semester and 25000 per semester as mess fees. Also project charges and exam charges were paid seperately.
Campus Life
Our campus was so big that it felt like we are in a different city. It was a modern campus that boosted sport facilities like an Olympic Village. Even swimming pool of our campus was larger than life and in our college there were in all some 12-13 clubs. Each club has their fest and then the annual fest of 3 days named Tithi.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels were good there were total of 2 boys and three girls hostels in all. No gender was allowed in the opposite hostels and students of opposite gender could meet only in mess as it was common for both. The best part was the hygiene as mess and even hotel rooms both maintained top level of sanitization.
Admission
I applied at Manipal and Symbiosis Pune and had admissions from all three including ICFAI. But IBS Somehow because of the campus and city too as Hyderbad is the next gen of metro cities in India I took my chances here.
Faculty
IBS Dehradun faculties uses both smart boards and the normal boards so that we learn modern traits but don't forget our roots too. If the faculties are the ones who have brought this culture it's well enough but event though too it's good to see their arms around our bodies whenever we are in need of them. Professor Marita Negi is definitely the best facultyvat our college.
Night Life
Our campus itlsef had food trucks and many food joints around that we hardly saw Hyderabad night life. Since Zomato was allowed for as long as we wants we ordered food at late night as our badminton courts and swimming pool were opened till 12 am for access.
