My admission process started after i had filled up the college form. The forms are available online as well as offline. The cost of the application fee was INR 2000, after which i was called for an interview on a given date. During this time i paid another INR 20,000 and the admission was based on merit of my class 12 performance with the minimum requirement being 60% with no admission test required for my BBA program. During the interview, I was asked about why I wanted to take BBA and study here. My session started somewhere in the month of July and along with the 1st semester fees i also had to pay a security deposit of INR 10,000 which was to be refunded after my completion of the course.

I chose BBA because it is a very relevant course in the generation we live in. It consists of skills which are required in almost all the sectors, be it finance, sales, banks and management. The course consists of 6 semesters and in it we are taught about business management, Finance and accounting, business mathematics, analytics and it keeps getting advanced as we move up. In the classroom, our faculty teachers' mode of teaching consists of lecture based with the help of digital classrooms, weekly tests and group discussions, followed by assignments and role playing so that we get an experience of the real world. Just like any other college attendance of 75% is mandatory and failure to do so, we have to pay fines or even we don't get to sit for our internal exams due to low attendance. We first have internals and then followed by external examinations.

Students become eligible for campus placements between close of Semester II and the commencement of Semester III. We have to undertake a max 14 week summer internship program which helps us to under the corporate world better. We also have placements provided at the end of our semester. Our placement cell helps us to get placed and the rate is 100%. It ensures that all of us are placed in good companies as a lot of recruiters visit our campus during the placement drive. The average package started from a minimum of 2.5 lakhs p.a and the max offered is around 15 lakhs p.a. I got placed in Tech Mahindra as a HR manager and my package was 3.5 lakhs p.a.

My total fee structure was INR 7,10000 . On the day of the interview i paid INR 20,000 and then every semester i paid INR 1,15000. I also paid a security deposit of INR 10,000 which was later refunded once i completed my course. For scholarships, we have two schemes i.e Merit Scholarships based on past academic record and Merit Scholarships based on Semester-wise Performance. Students securing 90 and up to 70% get scholarship waive offs. The option of bank loan is available as well. The Financial Aid Cell at IBS facilitates the bank loan process wherever required. Co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are very much a part of the day to day life on campus. Highly self-motivated and capable students run several student bodies and looks after the events that are held in the campus. They also act as a bridge between us the students and the administration. We also participate successfully in national and international inter-business school competitions. Two of our MBA students were among the six finalists at the Baylor USASBE Student Case Writing Competition held in January 2015 at Tampa, Florida, USA, while a team of four MBA students were in the top six of the Baylor-USASBE Student Case Writing Competition held in January 2014 at Fort Worth, Texas, USA.Besides these we have different sporting facilities available as well. We also celebrate Trishna - The cultural and Management Fest. It is a 3 day fest where participants from all reputed B-Schools across the country take part in it. Various management competitions, cultural, and entertainment events and recreation activities are held during Trishna.Aaveg is another important event. It is a three-day national inter-business school sports meet where teams from business schools across the country compete for glory in ten different events i.e. Badminton, Basket Ball, Counter Strike, Football, Squash, Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Throwball, and Volleyball.
