Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University (ICFAI), Meghalaya was established under the provisions of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University Act, 2005 of the Government of Meghalaya. The University is sponsored by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India.
The institute offers various courses at both Undergraduate and Postgraduate level in the streams of Arts, Commerce, Travel and Tourism Management, Hospitality, Business Administration and Computer Application.
The selection of applicants into various UG and PG Programmes is made through screening of applications and interview. While evaluating students for admission, due weightage is given to their academic distinction, awards in sports/cultural events, debates, quizzes and other extra co-curricular activities.
Special Reservation: There shall be a special provision for admission of students belonging to the State of Meghalaya in any course of ICFAI University, Meghalaya or in a constituent college, within the State of Meghalaya, which shall not be less than 25% of seats in each course / discipline subject to the students meeting the minimum qualifying requirements referred to above. Seats remaining unfilled under special reservation may be filled up by allotting the same to students belonging to Open Category
ICFAI University Meghalaya UG Admission 2024
The institute offers various Undergraduate programs in the streams of Arts, Tourism Management, Hospitality, Business Administration and Computer Application. The duration period of BBA, BCA and B.A (Eco) courses is three years whereas the Bachelor of Tourism and Travels Management (BTTM) and Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM) programs are offered for a period of four years.
The selection of applicants into the UG programs is made through screening of application and interview. While evaluating students for admission, due weight-age is given to their academic distinction, awards in sports/cultural events, debates, quizzes and other extra co-curricular activities. Original certificates and Domicile certificate should be produced for verification at the time of payment of first semester fee. The original certificates will be returned after verification.
ICFAI University offers a range of undergraduate programs, on successfully completion of which students will be awarded the relevant Degree by the University, subject to University regulations.

Ans. Yes. ICFAI provides fee concession to domicile students of the State of Meghalaya. All domicile students are offered fee concession.
Ques. Which academic pattern is followed at ICFAI University?
Ans. The University follows the semester pattern for all its programs. Each academic year consists of two semesters and a summer term. Continuous internal evaluation is done. End-semester examinations are conducted for each semester.
