ICFAI university. Worth the hype??

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees structure for the first semester is 14500 and the admission fees is 9000 ... The semester fees till the end of the course is the same as the first semester fees and there's no other hidden it's already mentioned in th admission form... The tuition fees, caution fees, development fees, lab fees and others compulsory charges is included in the semester fees... The registration we have to pay 1600 ... The fees for the domicile student is different from the non-domicile student... It's also gave a scholarship from the government NSP scholarship for all the students and there's a scholarship for the merit cum need..

The yearly fees would be around 29000 p.a as for Registration fee would be 6000 and 3000 additional for security which Will be returned after the completion of the Full course. 1200 is taken as other charges for 4 years i.e 300 p.a. Other than that thee is no permanent campus. But it's more affordable compare to the other colleges. The infrastructure needs improvement.

Regrets of my LIFES SUMMED UP IN A REVIEW

Admission fee is 50,000 and the semester fee is 25000 for M.A English. And the scholarship amount we're suppose to get is around 29-30 thousand. Since I've graduated from ICFAI University, I had to pay 5000 only for my admission but the semester is also the same for me as well. Also we get security deposit back after our graduation.

My overall experience in University

The fee structure for 1 year is 17,000 and the the semester fee is 20,000 per semester. The University is preety good , the only problem is infrastructure, the campus is small and I think they need to make the campus large so that it will attract the students more, people often judge our university through it's infrastructure and I think there are lots of improvement required in infrastructure. The teachers and the other staff faculties are very frank and supportive.

Good in every way a student could ask for

It's a private university and we are required to pay 20000, per semester and we have to pay extra with all the other needs if anything have to come out activities or anything we have to pay from ourselves , the cations fees is 50000 this is the fees we have to pay before returning but this fees will be returnnin back once we're done or completed the course , other batmatch for them it's costly as they don't belong from humanities. For example M.B.A student they have to pay 35000 per semester but it's costly for them because they are being taken for industry visits and all. Ahh scholarships are being provided every year especially we get so much of help from central government.

ICFAI university shillong insights

The fee structure for masters of political science is 25000 per semester including exam fees. This is for non local students like me but fee is different for locals, a little lesser amount than that of what non local would have to pay. The university gives us the freedom to apply for scholarships from our own mainland I.e., for me residing in Nagaland, I apply for the umbrella scheme scholarship.
