MGU Meghalaya Admissions 2023
Admission in MGU is strictly based on merit in the MGU-GET conducted by college administration every year. Candidates who have taken nationally recognized examinations like JEE, CAT, MAT, SAT for admission need not give MGU-GET examination rather they just have to sit for the counselling process.
Process of counselling and admissions:
It will be held on every working day of University based on merit marks obtained in the entrance examination or based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
University may also conduct Online Counselling, with due approvals after online counselling students must submit all original documents for verification to the counselling department.
- Original TC/Leaving Certificate, Character Certificate, and Migration Certificate will be submitted in the allotted constituent institutions or teaching departments.
- Seat allotment in courses will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance examination.
- The Application fee of INR 1000/- for MGU-GET is to be deposited via UPI/ demand draft.
- The admission of the applicant will be confirmed only on the fulfilment of minimum educational eligibility criteria and submission of fees.
- At the time of admission confirmation, the applicant shall submit original documents at the Counselling Office of the University.
