The boys to girls ratio is now 4:1 which which is a significant improvement from the past
The infrastructure is world class and constant improvements keep taking place continuously.
There are various student and faculty mentorship programs, to ensure that the mental and physical health of the students is taken care of.
Dislikes
The hostel culture in girls hostels is pretty less. The involment and engagement and bonding of boys hostel has improved.
The course curriculum is too rigourous, and needs a lot of effort for outstanding results.
The salaries data that comes out is not 100 percent true, 1/2 people get these super high packages and rest are average and a bit above.
Placement Experience:
Semester 7 is when the placement season starts, and sem 5 onwards you can appear for internship season. The highest package goes in crores but mostly in cse department, others not IT jobs have reletively lower packages avarage being 20 LPA. Almost 60 percent and above students get placed in my guess. I am planning to work in a chemical process design firm.
One of the best college in india in academics as well in extracurricular ( no doubt)
Best place to train yourself, You'll meet people who are much smarter than you, you need to constantly push yourself
No timings to enter campus at night, can spend whole night, days weeks outside campus, no one cares
Dislikes
Academics, if you think you can surpass all by studing a day night before exam, you may be wrong
Placement - only some top cream layer of students grab extraordinary placements, but still better than any other college in India
Gender ratio sucks here, 10 boys per girl approx
Placement Experience:
Placement is one of the reason why students sacrifice their school days for a single exam.
And if you get here you have done 80% of your job. Even if you're avg ( YOU NEED TO BE ATLEAST AVERAGE) out here you would land up with a job which is much better than jobs in private college.
In 23-24 avg was 24 lpa approx and median was 18 lpa, around 75 % of students were placed.
If you want to see more figures simply visit our placement website, it's all public
The peer group provided by IIT Bombay is unparalleled and helps you shape as a person
The sports and hostel facilities are very good and among the best in India
Extracurricular opportunities are endless
Dislikes
The competition is very high and can be stress inducing
The senior hostels are of very poor quality and need to be imporved
The mess food is not the greatest and has scope for improvement
Placement Experience:
Internships are usually there after 3rd year. They are paid and most people with a decent resume get an intern. Placements in IIT Bombay are amazing with almost full placements. You are essentially guaranteed a job if you have a decent enough CGPA. Most good companies like Google Microsoft and Nvidia hire from.here
Academic Excellence:- Rigorous curriculum, expert faculty and very good opportunities for research

Dislikes
Competitive environment doesn't let others to help among themselves
Soo many talented students that one get demotivated easily
It's class timings. They are not one after another. One is in day other after 5 hours
Placement Experience:
After 7 semester students are eligible for campus placement. So many big companies visit IIT Bombay like Google, Facebook, Ola uber etc. the minimum package offered is 10LPA. This year around 6% students remained unplaced.
In the 7th semester, companies start coming for placements and by the end of 7th semester most students are placed. The average package is around 22LPA and the highest package is around 4 CPA(international offer). More than 350 companies visited and more than 1500 offers were made. The percentage of students getting placed is around 80%. My plan is also to get a decent placement in the field of Quant.
The campus-Probably the greenest place I have ever seen.
The culture-From acads to extra currics, everything is unmatchable.
Opportunities that our college offers in order to develop your personality.

Competitive environment is the biggest issue .
Hostel rooms are small and clumsy and maybe some hostels are below average.
You need to always be on your toes to compete with everyone
Placement Experience:
Placements are one of the best in our country with my branch's average package going to 20 lakh per annum. Our college has NIRF ranking 1 and hence serves as the hub to nationwide placements. If no Campus Placements are offered we'll go with Apping process where I'll try to approach alumni through LinkedIn or maybe start up owners also.
Campus placement records are very nice and the procedure is easy
The diversity of people and culture helps to interact with different people
The academic curriculum helps to increase a lot of knowledge

College life is great and it gives you full freedom to take your own decisions and live life like an adult.
Peer group is great. Everyone here is like minded and very sharp giving great competition and supportive growth.
Faculty here is quite experienced and have many contacts which allow for great opportunities.
Dislikes
The hostel rooms are quite small but one can compromise.
The mess food is not good and sometimes doesn't feel like eating.
Many assignments are given causing some days to be very hectic.
Placement Experience:
Placements at college are very good. Companies come for each domain and one can go for any job that he/she wants. Students get internship opportunities from the second year onwards and job opportunities from their fourth year. Last year 384 companies visited and 1788 job offers were made. Around 94% of students were placed and the highest package was Rs 3.67 Cr. I plan to sit for the placements and take up a good job in the IT sector.
The high quality fests happening throughout the year
Placement process is very easy and the recruitment is very high quality
The curriculum is designed very nicely and cover all aspects of industry
Dislikes
Competition is very high in the exams and quizzes
