In first-year B.Tech courses, evaluation includes internal assessment, mid-term tests, and an end-semester exam. The recent DBATU question paper format uses six questions (Q1–Q6). Q1 is compulsory and contains objective-type questions covering the full syllabus. From Q2 to Q6, students must attempt any four; some questions may contain sub-parts.
