Likes
- The greenery and are campus area is good, its situated in a hilly area which is also called as switzerland of India.
- The departments and infrastructure is good, and we also have placement cell which also provides many placement drives for students.
Dislikes
- The is no bus or other vehicle service inside the campus and the students have to walk kilometers to change the department.
- Its an open campus and the security for the students is negligible and anyone can get into campus area
Fees and Financial Aid:
This university is a central university and its cost very less when compared with other colleges. Total 25K would be required to complete the MSc in forensic science and the cost varies from course to course. Varoius scholarships are available according to the category of the students. As such there is no campus employment or jobs for the students.
Likes
- I liked the environment and the atmosphere of this university
- This university shows very nice support towards every student
Dislikes
- The most disliked thing here is the lack of availability of things inside the campus
- secondly the management here does not support on many grounds
Fees and Financial Aid:
The tution fees here is very low priced it is approximate 3000 Rs per semester with additional 1200 Rs as exam fees. The complete cost of this course would be arround 25000 Rs . The state government provides scholarship to SC and ST students. but there is no such scholarship from the university The campus employment here is decent for my course it is 2-3 placement companies and major job roles are as intern or Insurance claim Investigator and assistant Profesor.
Likes
- Department of Criminology and Forensic Science is the first department of Asia to begin with the teaching of Forensic Science
- The college is quite good with satisfactory facilities. The lab was needed to be improved so new building has been prepared.
Dislikes
- The campus is open campus so others civilians also come here.
- The faculty is less, department is having vacancies which needs to be fulfilled.
Fees and Financial Aid:
I'll say that it's the most affordable college of Forensic Science. The complete cost of my education is around 70 thousands in two years. You can avail here all national and state government scholarships.
Likes
- Infrastructure is developing every year competing some top quality institutions.
- The university's locale lies in a very good natural environment with healthy AQI and cleanliness.
Dislikes
- The department 's minimum faculty limit is not fulfilled which leads to mismanagement and a lack of work ethics can be seen in professors
- The students are suppressed for demanding basic life needs like mess, water facilities and more healthy study environment.
Fees and Financial Aid:
All the government scholarships can be availed here. There's no such fee hikes. It's the most affordable college in terms of this course. The complete cost of my education is 40 thousand for two years. There's no campus employment supports but companies do visit here.
Likes
- The administration of the university is very environment protective as they never harmed the forest area for construction.
- The university is good in terms of affordability and for good education. It's a central university and follows the curriculum accordingly.
Dislikes
- The hostel of the university is not having the mess facility.
- Class sizes are small and seat intakes are less in few courses.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The tution fee is really affordable around 3k/months, there has been no fee hikes since 5 years. It's a very affordable university. In whole of MSc I spent 13k as tution fee 4.k exam fee for two years and in hostel I spent 6k for living. Here you can avail all central government, state government and private scholarships. I didn't take any employment there as there are very less options available.
Likes
- the budget of college was very affordable, it's easy to do your degree without much financial pressure
- the university have the nice campus , with trees it gives freshness
Dislikes
- The time given by faculty is quite less and some faculties are not there to make u learn things, they can demotivate you sometimes.
- The time of the students get wasted a lot in University, due to lot of exams we only can focus on the university exams, we cannot give time to ourselves or prepare for any other exams.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The scholarship was only available for SC/ST student, I was the general category student so wasn't able to avail any scholarship opportunities. My campus gave us 3 to 4 job opportunities, but as I was not into those jobs, so I didn't go for the interview.
