Sagar university: a life struggle

Placement Experience:

from 5th semester students got opportunities to apply for placement , intern ship etc airtel, deloitte, IBM, HDFC , ICICI etc it doesnt offer direct placement often rather students have to go through internship in repsective companies i dont know percentage of students getting placement job in public sector

Very few as Sagar firstly is a small city and then inviting corporate especially for law is tough. Some have started coming but still put batch size is of around 400 students but only 40 odd were placed from university.

A HILL CAMPUS TALE

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is eligible in the 6th semester in this course Samsung, Mahindra, Super 77, Ask Innovation, Scholar India, Swiggy.Ola and Zoom are a few companies, as per my information Didn't know about the highest, but the average packages are 5 LPA No idea of the percentage of students to work in a few companies to gain experience

Placements of our college is nice but the package are mostly low as compered to other university. From last year or last semester the students become eligible for the campus placements. No. Of offers made are quite less compered to other central university. Highest average package has gone up to 12 lacks per year. My plans after getting the degree is to do MBA.

Placements are not good for B.Com students as only 4-5lac is average many companies offer below this also. Also only average company came to recruite BCOM. Student.

From 5th semester students get chance to sit in campus placements. Companies like TCS, mandot securities , dristi ias, conginant, etc visited campus for placements. Offer and intake is 5-10 out off 100 Highest placement is around 9 lakh ctc Average is 4 lakh some offers below this also. Company hires for profile of Customer support, calling experts, sales executive and some for account associate etc. The percentage of placement is 20%

I didn't like unsupportive nature of HODs and faculty's in terms of college placement

When I talk about placement. it's not good in it and you will get unknown company placement and mostly are in sales. I got placed in 2 organization 1. Mandot Securities 2. Rinex technologies but I didn't join any of them because of Sales and not a good workplace. I have chosen the Off-Campus drive.

Placement Experience:

In 3 year course , one is eligible from 5 semester for the placement and in 5 year course , one is eligible from 9 semester . There are only 12 companies vitied in that college in which the higher package is about 12 lakhs per annum and the average package is 4 lakhs per annum. Almost 60% students got placed directly in different companies. After getting my degree I want prepare for judiciary examinations

The departments and infrastructure is good, and we also have placement cell which also provides many placement drives for students.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd sem onwards the students are eligible for placements , the placement cell is still growing in this university . I guess very less students are placed in this university. My plans after completing msc is doing phd after clearing ugc net exam, or teach in any university reagarding my content.
