Department of Criminology and Forensic Science is the first department of Asia to begin with the teaching of Forensic Science
The college is quite good with satisfactory facilities. The lab was needed to be improved so new building has been prepared.
The campus is fully equipped with free Wi-Fi facilities. For the amenities Library., Hospital, Bank all are there.

Dislikes

The campus is open campus so others civilians also come here.
The faculty is less, department is having vacancies which needs to be fulfilled.
Campus is large so there's a need of inuniversity transportation facility.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Forensic Science is an emerging field in India so I find it interesting in career aspects. The curriculum prepares us to use our theoretical knowledge to use it in practical world. The frequency of examinations are on time which are moderate level.

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Internships Opportunities

You can find internship opportunities in Central Forensic Science Laboratories, State Forensic Scince Laboratories and regional Forensic Science Laboratories, Police Stations NCRB. Mostly in Forensic Lab there's an unpaid internships some are paid.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'll say that it's the most affordable college of Forensic Science. The complete cost of my education is around 70 thousands in two years. You can avail here all national and state government scholarships.

Campus Life

The campus life is satisfactory not that much good as Sagar is a small town. The month of December is filled with the festival Gour Utsav. The scince day is also celebrated. You can play national level sports here. The students run Gour Youth Forum.

Admission

The admission process is based on the entrance test conducted by National Testing Agency named as CUET PG. The average application fee is 1000. The OBC EWS Sc ST all reservation can be available here. The exam is of moderate level. The admission process need to be made speedy.

Faculty

The faculty membes are highly qualified and very good at research work, the overall learning experience is good. The faculty's credentials and their approach to mentorship is quite good, We can interact with our faculty only in classrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I already had a bsc degree in genetics so I decided to fine tune my intrest and go for Microbiology. It's extremely entertaining to learn. Real world application are extremely important as described by our head of department who also guides us and improves our knowledge about it simultaneously. The professors are extremely capable to handle their subjects and the course lessons taught have direct relation to the applications in real life.

Remarks:

in the above field, the view I gave was totally good. just a few negative things left so they are here; university campus is located in a remote area so there is transportation issue as well as the connectivity issue even after being the wifi campus. but I am sure that the university staff is doing their best to solve each and every problem faced by students.
