Government Girls P.G. College of Excellence, Sagar was established in 1963 with strength of 10 students and by the year of 2001 has reached a capacity of 2621 students. College provides U.G as well as P.G programs. The classrooms allotted to each department are also based on the number of students and to maintain the quality rather than just roughly allotting them. Janbhagidari Samiti is formed as per the guidelines provided by Madhya Pradesh government and is fully operational. Meetings are held as per the rules, and the future of the college, and the courses offered is discussed with the help of the student body.
