My experience of Masters in Forensic science from Dr. Hari Singh Gaur University

The course is based on the criminal investigations which I find fascinating so it made me to choose this course, the curriculum is quite good and practical based which really makes us to happen the theoretical knowledge in the practical world. I'd like more improvement in the areas of practical knowledge and field visits. The exams happen time to time.

All the government scholarships can be availed here. There's no such fee hikes. It's the most affordable college in terms of this course. The complete cost of my education is 40 thousand for two years. There's no campus employment supports but companies do visit here.

There are no such festivals held by the campus and there are less co-curricular activities. Even if held they are not that much supported and funded. The books and journals available in the library is extensive. The facilities are similar to any other universities with none to little technological provisions. There is no such clubs or social groups in universities, as the faculties do not support these things and when someone raises their voice they are suppressed.

There is basic facilities provided in the room a wooden or steel bed, a chair and a table along with a big rack to pack your things there, There is no such mess available in boys hostel as of now, the quality of food of girls hostel is okay, can be better. The registration process for hostel is online on University website and it is very affordable only 2k for a month. The locality is also quite affordable you can get a hostel for 2k or you can rent a room starting 2.5k easily.

The entrance test is conducted by National Testing Agency which is called CUET PG. The availability of forms happen the months of April and may. The reservation available in government norms can be availed here. The exams are moderate to a little bit difficult. The admission process need to be made more quick

The faculty to student ratio is somewhat manageable as the faculties are less but they are highly professional and have very experience in the field of forensic science. In field of forensic science they are considered best so despite having less faculty the department of forensic science of DHSGU is counted among the elite list of departments of forensic science with their students placed all over India and contributing to the justice and development of country.
