My choices in studies accompanied with struggles.

Chemistry is a subject that has been used in literally everything like pharmaceuticals, industrial work and teaching too. There are our teachers who help us to do experiments in the lab since chemistry is a practical subject so need to have a good knowledge of practicals but sometimes due to lack of chemicals and lack of good machines there is some difficulty in obtaining results In order to improve the whole thing first we need to fix the devices and have a good budget for apparatus too. The 1st and 3rd semester are quite long while the 2nd and 4th semester are quite short but the syllabus in these are almost same so we need to change the weightage of syllabus according to semester.

The semester system is followed here. In the first semester I paid about 10000 rupees then for the second semester I paid like 6960 rupees and then for the third semester the fees was like 6960 and I am in the fourth semester now but the overall fees of the course is approx 30000 and there are no scholarship but those students who belong to sc or st can get scholarship.

The life here is very hectic, our classes start form 10:30 in the morning and we are free from department after 5:00 pm. First there are 3 classes of our subjects of 1 hour then after a short 30 minute break we have lab and after working in lab for straight 3 hours we get tired. Beside this there are no other classes and we are quite less active in the sports and other events.

We have been provided a table and a almirah and a shoe rack and a chair along with a bed with no bed sheets. There is also a balcony attached with the room for ventilation but it's closed properly so nothing can come inside the room. My room have a bathroom attached with it which is very useful and we don't have to go out of the room for using washroom but we have to clean our rooms by ourselves since no one is allowed in the rooms .

I first filled the admission form of Jiwaji University online and then they give list with the name of the students selected. My name was in the first list and then I went to the university for the further counselling along with documents and they gave me the form needed to be filled and payed the fees and hence I got admission and for other colleges I tried for Vivekanand global University in jaipur but it was a bit far away for me.

Most of the faculty are very professional and they provide notes too but they expect us to learn those notes like we are in school and also due to regular classes and lab we don't have much time left for self study and we don't read too many books. We only study the required topic in the books rather than reading the whole book . Well most of our faculty members are approachable and understanding. They also encourage us for studying further and provide guidance. As I have already said there are semester system so there are two type of exams, internals which held monthly for 3 months and externals which are the final exams which get checked outside the college but internals are checked by our teachers.

I live in the hostel so there are many restrictions like we cannot go outside after a certain time like in summers we cannot go out after 7 pm and before 6 am in the morning and in the winter we cannot go after 6:30 pm in the evening and before 7am in the morning. Due to these restrictions and hectic college life I barely had any time to explore things in the city and I don't even hangout with my friends so I don't know very much.
