- Placement and alumini: the institute has an immense alumini network along with the placement cell which attracts the top high paying companies ensuring good job opportunities for the students.it also enables research and further studies.

- In nit calicut gym was not free we want pay for it this thing i really hatred
- Fees are very high when we compared to other nits nit calicut collecting more fees which becoming heavy burden to poor students like me they don't even giving concession most of the people are not getting scholarships
- Our hostels are too old and actually it is alloted for 3 people but they are keeping 4 people in a room wash rooms are also not so good.

HIGHEST PACKAGE GOEST UP TO 60LPA and avearage package goes upto 20lpa.

- Academics are good and the faculty is nice. Good classrooms and lab facilities.
- Great social life. Lots of fests and cultural programs.
- The campus is so scenic. Lots of spots to just relax.
Dislikes
- Crows. There are a lot of crows and they shit on you a lot
- It rains a lot, like a lot. Prepare to get drenched without an umbrella
- Classes can be quite hectic and very packed.

NITC has good placements. The percentage of students getting placed are high. The average is around 15lpa and the highest was 48lpa. The placement statistics are good. NITC students are recruited by top companies.

And average package is six lakh my plan after getting my degree is job. 98% placement rate in nit Calicut. We get 7 CGPA we get 99% placement

From third year people can apply for college internship. Placements of college are good. Comapies like google microsoft orale comes for college placements. 95 percent people geta placed.

The campus placements has been pretty good lately, with highest package going as high as 85LPA for EEE Students.
The placement rate as well being high

My sister completed her B.Tech from NIT Calicut a few years back. As a female student, she had a bitter experience at this college. Here are some of the things that she noticed during her stay at NIT Calicut-
- The girls hostel is very strict regarding outings. There is a fixed curfew from 7 pm to 6 am. Even for staying on campus after 7 pm, special permission is required.
- There are instances where you might encounter racism in the most casual manner, this is especially true for North Indian students.
- The hostel and college staff are blatantly partial towards female students and those who complain are told to leave the college.
- There is a system of daily roll call for female hostellers, which is again a gender-biased rule. The Resident Tutors are not supportive or helpful and may scold you for not attending the roll call even if you are new and not well aware of the hostel procedures.
- During LAN work or other repairs, no female attendee is present with the male workers within the girls hostel premises. The girls are expected to follow all the precautionary measures and no strict rules are laid for the male workers.
NIT Calicut is an institute of national importance with an excellent reputation and great placement records. However, as a female hosteller, my sister faced these obstacles which caused unnecessary frustration for her.
