Course Curriculum Overview

i am much more intersted in electrical equipment since my childhood ,i see my future in this field thats why i chose the electrical banch. here faculty and student ratio adequate .there ins no any problem about it. all the faculties are well qualified and experienced with having higher degree. there are two wxam cvounducted in one semester (mid sem and end sem and some quizzes are also there.) paper is alittle bit tough but still everyone can pass

placcement of my college is appereciable. student from third year started getting placedand obviously 4th year student also . companies like microsft. oracle, google .amazon,OIL, ORACLEvisit my college. HIGHEST PACKAGE GOEST UP TO 60LPA and avearage package goes upto 20lpa. in every depatment of our college about 95+ percentage student got placed. student who dont get placed try for off campus placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

here fees structure varies accordingto their category and income. but fee is a affordable. there are scholorship garnted by our college .we can also go for loan for this. student also go for some private scholorship like reliance foundation ,foundation for excellence.

Campus Life

annual fest ragam conducted in febrary and a very famous techfest of south named as tathva conducted in january month. our library is very huge , almost every book is availabe there.digital library is also there. there is sac for sports, they conduct inter nit match of every game. participants are given activity for sports also. yeah there are many club like gdse for code , matheamtics club ,music club aestro club is availablle here.

Admission

candidate should pass with 75 percent in 12th board we can find the application form on nta site ,fee is also there. some category like sc/st/ews/pwd get some reservation. a impovement i want to see admission process should conducted in online mode.

Placement Experience:

The placement here is top notch. This year in my campus the highest CTC offered was 56.5lpa by PALOALTO. Placements process is centralised at coimbatore though. Students are eligible for campus placements from third year or s5. Average package in computing department ranges from 10-12lpa. My plans after degree is to pursue MS: opportunities of which are provided by the college itself. In computing department almost 90% of the students have been placed according to the seniors I talked to. However it is lower in other streams.

Placement Experience:

As of what i spoke to the seniors they said that AI students got better placements compared to Core students and the average package is around 9LPA for CSE branches students and 7LPA overall for all the branches and there is CIR foundation classes where they teach us how to improve our communication skills and How to create a resume right from first year itself according to seniors it is very helpfull

An aspiring first year student’s review

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed. I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

I have choosen this college because it is of top 5 NITs and i am getting a good branch. I have apllied for remaining top nits also, but i got this for my jee mains rank( i couldn't make to other top nits because may be of lack of good preperation for jee). When compared to remianing NITs, this college has everything that every other NIT also have, the sports facilities here can be improved. I wanted to get into Mechanical Engineering in any of the top NIT's so applied for all the NIT's in the NIRF ranking order with mechanical in every college so after the counselling happened to get into NIT Calicut. The admission process is through JoSAA Counselling where students come to the college after getting alloted but before that the student needs to clear the JEE Main Exam to get admitted into the college.
