Yeah it's very good for class room is great and lab is workable we have onam programs and xmas, arts day, sports day, youth festival, freshers day its good there is two clubs nss and nature club and good friends
The attitude of the teachers were very rude but their way of teaching is very nice and we can easily score good marks in the exams.
The college have job placements in channels like asianet, and have some institutes like brilliant, also the channel karikku.we have internships at newschannels and other institutes and may get permanent jobs if they like our work.

Dislikes

Facilities are very bad theory is no very good infrastructure facilities provided
The distance from hostel to department is too large and its so difficult to walk
It's a very poor system that's made to waste the time of students as they cram everything from practicals and theory, leaving no space for real life applications .

All about St Teresa’s college and Psychology department

Likes

The faculty is young and energetic and approachable
There are a lot extracurricular activities and opportunities available
Your talents are always appreciated and motivated

Dislikes

Wouldn’t be a good place if you plan on only focusing on your studies because there will be a lot of programs going in the campus
The department as well as the college is situated in the middle of the city so there are a lot of space restrictions
I would’ve liked to have more internships opportunity as we only have one internship during 3rd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good but in my opinion they could add some more portions which will help the students to get better knowledge over all. The faculty members do try and provide their own personal knowledge and information which will be beneficial for us

What actually makes cms

Likes

The architecture of the buildings .it's really vintage and it's built in the 80s .
It's really peaceful. it's always a cold inside our campus
It's very natural loving and that is one of the main reasons why our campus is always cold .we have all kind of species inside our college and varities of butterflies.

Dislikes

Ever since the principal changed the campus has been a bit untidy.the water coolers , the pat , the gates , it's really dirty.
Poor maintenance in the canteen and harsh behaviour from the staffs of the canteen
Faculties can be really laidback and give their works to the students.can be really judgmental.

Placement Experience:

From your third year the placements start but it isn't that great as you have to work so hard and get paid less . You don't get paid what u deserve. There's only quite a few who gets thru placements and if u have supply/if u attempted any exams twice or more , it's hard to get the placement. My plan after getting my degree is to specialise in nutrition and dietics or i might end up specialising in pediatric nutritionist somewhere aboard.

Likes

The sports department is very active in all categories
The students are extremely talented and friendly
The provides a beautiful ambience for students

Dislikes

Class rooms are very small in my class there are 54 students we can’t fit in that small classroom
Some teachers are not friendly they don’t treat all the students equally
The fees structure is high compared to other colleges and also there is no programs in this college

Faculties are only average.They are not experienced ones

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the placements companies will come here.Sutherlands, Accenture, Delloitte was the some of the companies came here.Actually placements was very less for my batch as there was global war going on.Only 10-12 from 45 students were placed from my class.My plan is fotrgoing to MCA after This BCA

About My College

Likes

Friendly and approachable faculties and they clear doubts of each and every individual
No ragging, also its a women’s college and focuses on empowering women
Labs and libraries are there. Calm and quiet environment

Dislikes

There is no enjoyment in campus, campus life and social interaction are very low
Very isolated area with less development
No smart classrooms and virtual learning

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course as it is related to medical field and biology is the main base. Everyone who loves biology will find it interesting. The syllabus is not that tough. After completing graduation we can join any multispeciality hospital as a dietitian, as a fitness trainer in a gym or as a personal celebrity dietitian. Post graduation and phd will be cherry on cake. This profession is futuristic as it is developing and there is a high demand abroad. I think virtual learning will be the best for this kind of course and college should provide it.

Most i liked is our seniors they are super active and friendly.
Staffs and teachers are so friendly and so much helpful.

I would rate a 4.1/5 . I was attracted by physics in my school life so i choose this course for study. I just wanted to take physics without any specialization and in my list of application it was the only one college which gives course of just bsc physics (hons). If we talk about curriculum,as i said its just the first year of Four year degree..every body has confusions about it.We can say this four year degree as Work based learning.. Theres Major and 2 minors and MDC( multi disciplinery course) for this.. I'm sure this will help all students.

Likes

Before joining the collage, i was very silent person, but after that i changed a lot
The social activities, the collage routines changes me a lot
I m so superproud that i was studied at union christian college that 100 + years old

Dislikes

Parking is not good

Placement Experience:

We have 2 semester exam per year. We the bsc botany students have field visit at ooty, Karnataka coorg etc. We have find lot of varieties of plants and all. Higher the percentage and placement will be more. I got an job at private company

Lots of engaging programme, a well maintenaned campus
Smart class with a computer screen in every class
Teachers are friendly and helpfull and are ready to give their best

Dislikes

Need a better toilet for boys it is okey but need more space
Need to have a common space for students to enjoy
Collge should provide with free Wi-Fi and resources

Collge have a lot of placement optiona our collge have a placement cell. They prepare us for interview and provide us with a lot of opportunitys. 4 of my seniors got placed in diffrent companies. My plan is join pg in the same cmapus

My Review about stas

Likes

Cultural programs like kalolasavam provides a stage to express a students extra curricular activities
Sports activities and intercollege tournaments are really a relief
Teaching staff is very good and the syllabus is also good

Dislikes

Sem duration is not consistent,students may not get enough time to study
Not enough funding is provided by university for most of the activities
Exam results are really delayed. So it is difficult to study

Course Curriculum Overview:

I took this course because of its opportunities all around the world. The syllabus really provides a whole picture on what we about to do in the real world and prepares us for it. The practical area should be more than the theories and the lessons should be to get more of a logical side rather than a theoretical

Likes

The college ambiance is very good and very peace full places are there.
The teachers of their is very friendly and supportive

May I selected my course because I like to study about plants and their habitat also. Because I love the nature and yhe greenary. The plants give a peaceful feeling and they make me feel happy. I studied about my college and also I understood everything about plants and nature.
