Course Curriculum Overview:

I take this course because it's unique and we can learn alot about both food and our body as well. Basically, this course is a mix of MBBS and other Physics and Chemistry as well. They will teach us about how food is being cultivated and how it is made all its physical and nutritional parts as well as the chemical structures of food by experimenting with the food in the chemical lab. Product Development is taught so we can create our own food products and they emphasise entrepreneurship. The faculty are really helpful and they provide detailed knowledge about every chapter. They also help us in creating new products and ideas. All faculty members are well-trained professors who completed Phd in food science. They have regular internals which helps to get an idea about main semester exams. Passing of subjects was quite easy if you loved the subject.

Campus Life:

Abhilasha, jhankar and there are many cultural events happening at the college like they conduct a concert for Navaratri called as VISH. Each and every department will be given an opportunity to put up a stall and earn. they basically train every student to be independent and develop entrepreneurial skills. There are many no.of books and journals available in the library. Since we dont have any book material for this course to study we had to refer several books and journals for study material. they provide well-equipped Classrooms with nice tables and chairs, projectors and nice ventilated classrooms. They have very nice activities for sports. They conduct and also allow the students to participate in other or state sports activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course as I found it very scope. There are wide opportunities for this stream either in our nation or abroad. The faculty-student ratio is ok like there is no shortage of faculty. All the faculty members are highly qualified from amazing universities and most of them have either completed their Ph.D. or pursuing them. The teaching methods are also good and satisfactory. The professor explains things amazingly and in enough detail as required. Exams were held semester wise i.e, after every six months and between these six months, the class test was held. There is not as such difficulty in passing the exams as professors explain with high clarity and also provide notes which are very useful.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee structure is 43000 tuition fees per year and 10000 examination fees which we have to pay timely to sit in the examination. Scholarship opportunities are provided and there is a scholarship-based admission facility also provided for lower castes which is very helpful as I'm also from sc caste so my admission was also scholarship based but govt had not provided me with the amount and due to this I have to pay my fee.

So I chose this course and I got the opportunity to quench my thirst of knowing these serval course from my university . Because the course curriculum includes courses such as chemistry, biology, nutrition, biochemistry, microbiology and chemical engineering so as to study about different aspects of food and the changes which they undergo during its processing and at the time of its storage. Professors are very efficient and have in dept knowledge in their respective subjects. Some of my faculty members are- Dr. Ravindra Agarwal,Dr. Sanjay Pratap Singh, Dr. Ranjana Pande.

Campus Life:

My university is situated in a temperate climatic zone so the environment of the campus is very comfortable. The most remarkable thing of my university is its Central Library with wide range collection of books ,journals and periodicals and also have the facility of Inter Library Loan service, Online Public Access Catalouge(opac)and a favorable reading room. Besides I got the facilities of Bank, ATMS, Post Office, Medical Check up center, Cafateria, Shopping Center within the campus. I have used E-gate pass to enter into my campus and it is really appreciable thing as it maintains the saftey and security of the campus. Moreover I came across the students ,teaching and non teaching staffs with diverse culture. There are lots of workshop, seminars, annual cultural programs are happened in GU.
