The only thing about college which I liked was the exterior tall buildingsand the big class rooms
College have so many departments for each department there will be separate rooms
Have game rooms, conference hall, everything

Dislikes

Dislikes about college are they have everything but not in use
Not standard lecturers, bad curriculums.
The staff who work in help desk and in every department are not for help. No use

The curriculum that I choose because I have interest in the field of investigation, u need to study yourself if you join in this college and the worst thing is exam timetable that won't happen on time and if ask why they have no answer to say

The yearly fee for my course was 25000 and 1400 for examination fee and other expenses like accommodation, and other personal expenses, and yearly they will conduct the international conferences and that is additional

There will be some annual festivals that they celebrate and coming to books there are libraries so you can find the book, and laboratories there, sports room like table tennis, there is play ground for cricket. No groups no clubs

There is no entrance exam for this college as it is a private university for admission you need to visit the college and need to go to admission cell then you can take admission before taking admission negotiate about the fee so that can save you some

Faculty

The teachers are approachable but not that standard teacher they only work for salary they waste student time and they won't help in any other colleges related issues and they won't take any responsibilities of students

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum was well-structured, and each semester, there were projects and presentations that also helped to test our knowledge. I got influenced as the curriculum provides us with financial economics, political economics, and Applied mathematics. The level of the exams was decent, related to the course. They could improve in teaching more practical knowledge and projects related to that, instead of only learning in a theoretical way.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job oppurtinities are less since this is an undergraduate college offwering honours degree. Though there is a placement and career councelling cell that looks over this matter. Placements are offered only in a few subjects, such as industrial chemisrty and computer science. The rate of placements are very high and come with high packages. Though I am not interested in placements, but I have started taking preparations for compititive exams. Such preparations are very supported here, rather than jobs and placements.

The main reason i took admission in the college was due to low fees. A good university if you work hard

First of all the why I chose this college over another colleges because I had not applied for any other college , I have tried to get admission in Aligarh University, but I'm unable to join that university because of their entrance exam which is very tough to clear and also a language problem that is You need to fluently speak Urdu to clear the entrance exam , that's why I'm unable to enroll that university so I have join this university on the based of it's infrastructure and less fees for the admission than the other engineering Universities .To join this university I had just filled up a form to get admitted to this university, there is no entrance exam to get admission . I have paid around 10000 rupees for the admission fees upfront and later after my admission I have to paid about 33000 rupees as admission charge and 28000 rs as my first semester payment .
