college is quite big and have a lot of facilities
great faculty for allmost all departments
good infrastructure for classes and labs

the maintenance of buildings and classes are poor
no maintenance in the bathroom for both men and women
the location of the college is in a remote village

the course cover almost all aspects of the food industry which includes nutrition, processing, packaging.the course should have a long training period rather than having a short training.the exams are pretty tough

i completed my internship in navya bakers Pvt Ltd. in Cochin.it was a 10 days training program in which I had to conduct different tests in the laboratory of companies.I did several paper works of sops and regular checkup.

Fees and Financial Aid

bachelor's in food technology is government funded course in this college where the fee is just under 5000 each year which sum upto around 16k-20k as tution.apart from this there will be a admission amount which includes pta fund and caution deposit which will be around 3000.other than this there are minute charges for labs and library.In case of students from special category they have consetion in these fee structure which would be around 50% of the original fee.there are several scholarships provided for students in special category and students who has pretty high scoring in their studies.students who are economically unstable are also greated with scholarship if they are able to prove their economic status.

Campus Life

the college has different programs conducted on special occasions and during seasons. the infrastructure of the college includes several buildings like admin block, library block, pioneer block.the college also conducted different clubs for similar interest peoples

Hostel Facilities

the hostel facility is good.there are minute infrastructural problems.the hostel have a warden and around 60 people accomodation. the hostel also have a mess facility in which the food is great.the hostel is located within the college campus

Hostel Fee: INR 15000 per year

Admission

this college is the only college in which this course is aided by the government.other colleges have almost 20000 rupees for each semester.the admission process of the college was so simple that it just took a day.the hostel admission took days.

Faculty

there are 3 faculty minimum for the department of food technology for the under graduate program.apart from these 3 faculty there will be 1 guest faculty.All the faculty is freindly and helpfull.the curriculum consist of 6 semester with each having a final exam in the end of each exam . before the final exam there will be a internal exam

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you could get in the practicing period for placements if you dont have any supply you could get placements and college provides internship from 3 rd semester. Highest packs could be goven bank and maybe delloit idk how much it is but an avg pack of 75k per month will be there. If you got skills you would get in there.

Placement Experience:

The college has a well functioning placement assistance. There are various companies including banks and Tech based companies which arrives in the college for placements every year. The placement assistant cell prepare students very well for the placements.They grooms the students and prepares them for aptitude test, interviews and group discussions which are required for placements.

I feel in love with mathematics in plus two time. The coursee are more application based when compared to other. Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Placement Experience:

The placement of this campus is very excellent. The collage has a placement assistance cell and every year 50 companies reaching this college for placement drive . Every year more than 80 students gets placed in large companies like EY , MRF and banks like federal bank , South Indian Bank etc. The federal bank offers a highest package of 16 LPA for pg students and 8 students got placed in 2024-25 academic year. Placement is opens for students studying final year. There is coaching for placement for free of coast for the students who registered for placements

Companies like federal bank, infopark invites students from our college for their interviews. I choose this course because it is rare and it have high potential in national as well international level. But in this college they don't have enough facilities to teach so it won't prepare a student for real-world application.
