Course Curriculum Overview

The course requires more practical sessions than theory classes. More intership opportunities should be provided by the college administration.Except a faculty all other teachers are good at teaching.

Class Size: 33Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fees involves ?120000 and no such exclusive fees structures.Each year a due of 600(Union fee) and ?800(exam fees) is deducted.There are various scholarships available in college for students having high academic status.

Campus Life

The college union organizes Arts festival (chilamb) once in a year.It mainly comes during Oct-Nov month.In addition to that the various departments in the college organises their subject related fest.There's also a college day and Ethnic day.Onam, Christmas celebrations are held as in other colleges.Collge union also coordinates sport meet usually after college kalolsvavam.

Admission

Eligibility of course:Plus two science stream Application by online method,no application fees,July 2021 Each sem exams comes in a duration of 3-4 months. The course is not much difficult,but the complimentary courses such as physics, chemistry,maths are bit difficult. The admission process is not much complicated,but there is some delay in the admission process

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you could get in the practicing period for placements if you dont have any supply you could get placements and college provides internship from 3 rd semester. Highest packs could be goven bank and maybe delloit idk how much it is but an avg pack of 75k per month will be there. If you got skills you would get in there.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you will be eligible for campus placements. Big banks like federal bank, south indian bank provide high placement package with the highest package being 60k per month. Other IT companies like Wipro,accenture, and deloit etc also provide high package placements.Almost 50 to 75 percent of students get placed after third year. My plan is if i get a good package I'll go for the placement or else I'll go for my masters degree

A Decent College for BSc chemistry students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Why you should/shouldn't join LISSAH

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

Out college being an autonomous college has good grip to keep up to the level of good education. Overall teaching methods and syllabus are very good. Highest and Average Packages by Company and Profiles Offered are, for undergraduate (UG) students: ?3,00,000 per annum.For postgraduate (PG) students: ?3,45,000 per annum. Roles Offered:Positions include researcher, technical writer, and analyst. Percentage of Students Getting Placements:For UG students, approximately 4.26% were placed, with 16 out of 376 students securing jobs.For PG students, about 16.42% were placed, with 22 out of 134 students securing positions. Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.

I have choosed this college so that I can reach my hometown with in an hour as my parents have only one child and if they need any presence of mine as soon as possible, then I can run towards them asap I can do. I have received multiple admission calls from various universities and autonomous colleges, I have rejected them as my prefer was I told the early. The eligibility criteria is to attend the entrance exam that is conducted by the university, then they publish the rank list and will call them to join.
