Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate my course curriculum and it's relevance a solid 8/10. I know a few seniors currently doing their masters and people who are actually working in different companies. Everyone confirmed it to be helpful if one actually pays attention to what is being taught. The exam schedule is put tight along with different events and fests happening in parallel which puts a healthy pressure on us to actually study and understand everything thats happening.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year-wise fees I've paid till now and will be paying for the next year is 71,000. Yes there are scholarship options considering your financial situation and the reason why you're applying for it. No the annual fee does not increase and is same for all the three/four years (depends on your course).
Campus Life
My overall experience in the college has been AMAZING till now. I have made many friends, and have learnt so many new things about myself and how to take care of things in the real world. There are various departmental fests, events, clubs, college events, etc to keep you occupied all along (except for during exams obviously). There's a mandatory of 75% attendance, which if decreased not an issue, there's an allowance of paying condonation for those with more than 65% to less than 75%. The overall campus as I've mentioned before is really nice, the library, the blocks, whole campus environment in general is very peaceful.
Admission
I chose this college because first, it is closer to my home making it less for me to travel; second I liked the campus; third the people here are very nice and understanding. It takes a little while but there isn't a single person who's lonely. Whereas the other colleges I applied for were famous for many stories, and me coming from a typical hindu family, my parents would never allow me there. Hence it was for the best.
Faculty
The faculty in regards to teaching is very good. A course of 3 years has 6 semesters, every semester has 5-6 subjects, most of the times divided as 4 core subjects and 1 or 2 career aiding subjects like english or soft skills, value education, etc. Every semester has 2 mid-semester exams, 1 practical (depends on the subject you chose) and 1 sem-end exams. The mid semester exams have a divided portion of 2 and 3 units respectively or 2½ and 2½ equally divided. The course curriculum is completely related to every question that arises, like why and how?
Night Life
There are not many late-night activities in my college for student's safety, yet the events like fests last till the evening. There's Basketball court to just hangout with friends, talk, have lunch, or the college canteen which is still under construction but looks like it's actually a cafe. The college hostel, well i would not suggest it at all because many people found it too controlling and strict, they say it feels suffocating. There are many private hostels nearby college which are quite better when compared. The college area is a little bit quite for around 200-500 metres but then there's a market on one side and a really developed area called Suchitra on the other.
