What Students Say
Likes
- the campus is huge and developing, there’s always something fun going on that gets you attendance and stuff
- the faculty of my department are pretty cool if you ask me, queer friendly, experienced and smart people who know what they’re doing and take pleasure in doing so.
- got to learn a lot from the department, and signed up for a bunch of different interdisciplinary courses that are a literal bold highlight for the resume
Dislikes
- the mandate of having 75% attendance by the end of the semester
- the fact that we can’t leave campus whenever, and have only specific time slots for that
- the place is huge, so you have to pretty much walk everywhere
Course Curriculum Overview
i chose psychology because i've always felt drawn towards it and journalism comes naturally to me, the curiosity, the research and reporting. my love for literature, thanks to my mum; the curriculum does prepare you for the world in some way, not fully but yea somewhere along there. the teaching methods from the faculty of the department are pretty good but we occasionally have dse and ge courses where the new faculty is sometimes hard to understand.
Placement Experience
5th semester. i have no idea about that but i do know that deloitte, synchrony, wipro, among the others are our top placements. the highest package i heard of was 14LPA . about 60% students get placed in good companies the others choose higher education
Fees and Financial Aid
60,000/- for two semesters (one academic year) tuition fees add up to about 56,000/- admission fees needs to be paid separately depending on the course you choose development and other charges add up to about 3000-4000/- the college offers a management scholarship depending on your grades and attendance percentage, if they're satisfactory, the student gets 5000/- to 15,000/- scholarships
Campus Life
the biggest even we have is resonance that goes on for 3 days and encourage departments to participate in several events that add up to their points by the end of the event our library is currently under construction so there's that but i don't think you'll find anything but magazines and academic books in there. we do have sports and other clubs like music, magic youth, etc.
Admission
i chose this college because my parents went here too, so this was on the list of places i applied. i did get into a bunch of other colleges too but by then i was already too drawn to this place. the admissions happen online, and then once your application is evaluated you're called for an interview and revaluation
Faculty
the faculty of our department are pretty cool, ver friendly and welcoming. they're all experts in their own fields and know what they're doing, every one of them have great accomplishments both on and off campus. we have 2midsemester exams and one semester end exam, with internals like viva, CBT and group presentations
Night Life
the college canteen is nice but there are so many other hand out spots in and around the area so there's no shortage of cafe hopping, and there are a bunch of gyms and pgs and hostels and hotels around too. the locality is pretty safe to roam around at night but there's not much happening
Other Applied Colleges
St Francis College for Women | Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Psychology)
i got an acceptance from LADC before
