MGU Revaluation Result 2024

Students offered MGU Admission are provided with a result revaluation facility. Students have to apply on the prescribed form within 21 days from the date of receipt of MGU mark list. 

However, if the difference is 5% or more then only mark change will be affected. In case the difference is 10% or more, the paper will be subject to second revaluation and the average of the marks of first and second revaluation will be reckoned. 

Note: Students must note that the revaluation fee for MGU results will not be refunded.

Ques. Can MGU examinations be cancelled?

Ans. Yes, the students can apply for Mahatma Gandhi University examinations cancellation for all terminal exams except 1st MA/M.Sc/M.Com and professional courses. Students must make sure that when the degree examinations are cancelled papers of the same subject appeared in the previous years will also be cancelled.

Ques. What is the medium of Mahatma Gandhi University examinations?

Ans. Students appearing for Pre-degree and Degree exams can attempt MGU examinations in English or Malayalam. But a mix of both will not be allowed.

Ques. Is there any MGU result betterment option available?

Ans. Yes, the students who passed M.A./M.Sc/M.Com examination can improve their marks by availing two or more chances (consecutive) irrespective of time limit. PG level previous examinations can be improved along with the regular final year examinations.

Ques. When are the Mahatma Gandhi University rank certificates allotted?

Ans. PG students get the MGU certificates immediately after the declaration of Mahatma Gandhi University Result. The certificate to Degree students is allotted when the revaluation process gets over. Rank certificate is issued till 3rd rank.

Ques. How can MGU Duplicate Certificate be availed?

Ans. MGU Duplicate certificate, migration certificate, P.D.C./ B.Tech/ B.Ed mark list and Pass certificate can be availed by producing a declaration on a stamp paper of INR 25/- to the effect that the certificate has been irrecoverably lost, attested by a Notary Public along with a SBT Chalan of INR 200/- (INR 100/- for migration) along with a personal request.

Ques. What are the passing marks required in MGU examinations?

Ans. P.D.C. students are declared passed in part III if he/she gets minimum 35% marks in each subject and a total 175 marks in the first attempt. If these targets are not achieved, then 60 marks will be treated as passed.
