Course Curriculum Overview

I already studied in SH for the higher secondary. So i thought studying in SH itself will be better. The practical knowledge from SH was very less..Lack of experienced teachers was a drawback for me.They teach us in exam oriented manner only

Placement Experience

1

From semester 5 the placements companies will come here.Sutherlands, Accenture, Delloitte was the some of the companies came here.Actually placements was very less for my batch as there was global war going on.Only 10-12 from 45 students were placed from my class. My plan is fotrgoing to MCA after This BCA

Yearly fees 80000 Caution fees 5000 Registration fees 2000 Lab fees - 2000 Different types of Scholarship available for Reservations students.Management Donation is around 2-3 Lakhs. Also Other fees like onam festival charge will be there

Campus Life

2

There were so many fests conducted by each departments. We can participate each departments.Programs Were conducted.Tatva fest of commerce department was the best. Also here we need to do a 40 hour service learning program which we have to do beach cleaning or go to serve dishes in the social kitchen in the weekends. There are so many clubs for both girls and boys.

Admission

Most important thing was SH was autonomous college. There wont be delay in conducting exams because SH conducts the exam.Other colleges which i applied was MG authorised Colleges which Centralised Exams was there and it will take very much. Also in Sacred Hearts The Lake view is awesome.Going there will give you a great satisfaction. Also the programs conducted here is very well organised.Extra curriculum is very much there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course is Bsc Biotechnology. It is a research associated course. Its main scope is in research. But in every industry let it be medical or industrial a biotechnologist is required. I would like more practical knowledge than theory knowledge in this course as it is needed to be implemented in labs hands on experience is essential. Exams are conducted every 6 months as semester. Class tests and model exams are conducted frequently. Assignments, projects, seminar ,etc.. are given every month.
