Likes
- It provided an overall of good experience for students of good caliber. Once the student has opted for their courses
- This college is Autonomous and has designed it's own syllabus. Even though some of the subjects are based from MG university
- The most interesting thing in our college is the ambience that it provides. It's extraordinary. The "Vembanattu kayal" in the backside of the college is a pure relaxation
Dislikes
- As most the colleges run a semester with 5-6 months period, SH gives us only 3-4 months for a semester.
- Most of the syllabus which the SH choose are somewhat hard to follow
- Some of the teachers are not taking the subjects properly and was not even able to complete those syllabus in the time before the semester ends.
Course Curriculum Overview
One of the main problem that students face is that, they are not provided with enough time to study the hectic syllabus designed by them. Each semesters are just 4-5 months, out of which tough syllabus are designed by the members.
Internships Opportunities
There is a faculty member in each department for placement related roles. We can suggest them any of our favourite companies if we want to do our internship orelse they would suggest the companies which they already know. Doing internship during the sem break after the 4th semester is mandatory for our department
Placement Experience
The college offers placement opportunity for the students afyer completing the degree, provided we need to submit the project and clear the interview. Mainly the xollege provides placement from the company of deloitee, the salary package and other benefits are quite good when compared with other college placement's
Fees and Financial Aid
We need to pay fees the fees each and every year through college website. There is no such unwanted hikes inthe fees of the college. We also need to pay semester exam fees seperately to the college. The complte cost of completing this degree might go to 30000 to 40000 including all the fees. This very less compared to other Autonomous colleges
Campus Life
Each department can conduct their own department fests during the even semester. The fest which our department conduct is called 'TANDAV'. This fest is conduct for 2 days, mainly inthe months of November or December
Admission
The admission process is completely based on the marks you have scored in your 12th. The student with the highest marks gets the opportunity to study the course. There is almost 2 seats for sports, 2 for Arts, 2 for Sc/St students.
Faculty
We can approach the faculty members whenever we want. Each students are provided with one of the teacher of the department as their main mentor. Regarding the qualifications of the teacher's, most the teacher's are done with their doctorate degree and most of th are enough qualified.
