I like the teachers like dr.sheena she is one of the best teacher here .
Placements and internship opportunities are good. research support is also very strong. bangalore is nearby hence a lot of companies visit for campus placements
Fees are somewhat high but a lot of scholarship opportunities are there for students, especially college fee is free for those whose annual income is less than one lakh and third for those less than five lakhs

Dislikes

There was a lack of transparency while choosing college hostel.
Hostel food is not good, actually veg mess food is not good at all
There are not lot of thing which i dislike its just two which i mentioned above.

We can have anything we want don't have to worry about anything we need.
People here are quit helpful and good in nature.

Dislikes

I don't like the taste of food because I'm North Indian
I don't like the weather also because my body is not habitual of this kind of nature.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is good course for students that were preparing for JEE and failed there.It is a good platform to become software Engineer. In my curricular everything is realted to computers and its application and coding.There is a lot of real world applications that are A self driving car that comes under machine learning.There should be more real world examples and connections should be given rather than just explaining in theory.The exams are frequent and quit difficult for me.

I liked the environment here as i'm learning a lot of new things so i like that and even campus is quite good
I like the that placements over here are quite good its just one need to push there limits at such extent .
In academics also there are lot of subjects which are really interesting and gonna help me in future so that is also a good part.

Dislikes

I don't like food over here because its south india and i'm from north india.
there are not lot of thing which i dislike its just two which i mentioned above.

Placement Experience:

1. In MCA from thrd semester we appear for internship and from 5th semester we are able to appear for placements. 2. There are lot of big companies visited like microsoft,uber,cisco,adobe and many more and students got quite good packages aroung 50 lakh annual packages some got less also nut placements are good over here. 3. Microsoft offered a pacakge of 50 lakh above and TCS offered a package of 4 lakh 4. More than 80 % students get good placements this year due to ressesion placements are little low but overall its quite good. 5. I want to join a well-knowned tech company with a good package .

It is a one of the best college in India.

Likes

I like the beach so if anyone get depressed can go their and feel good with nature.
Academic quality is very good. Student will sure learn something from here.
campus is very good. Every building is attached to one another. we don't have to walk too much.

Dislikes

environment I didn't like because it is very hot.
library of these college is small one it can not accommodate all the student.

Placement Experience:

after two semesters company will come and gives internship programs to the students. all the companies visit the NIT and from best of my knowledge the best package is 52 LPA and average package is 12 LPA. mostly a studend having above 7.5 pointer will eligible for the internship some companies may not ask about the pointers. We are here for get placed.

I think this college is best beat and faculty is also best
And placement is also so wonderful of our campus

Placement Experience:

Placement of our college is so wonderful and around 60 to 70 percent or each branches got placed and talking to ou course 80 to 85 percent students got placement and placement cell called 70 to 80 company for our course.

My experience is good at all in my all nitk journey.i was a good campus environment. And there are lots of learning which i have learned

Dislikes

Everything in campus is good. So i didn't like anything in my campus. Everything was good for my health and future.

Placement Experience:

I am from MCA and in my course we will eligible form 3 semester for internship and in 5th semester for placement. There are various mnc companies visit for us. And they offer average package 10 lakh. In mca the highest package in 2023 is 52 lakh by amazon aws and minimun package is 6 lakh by incture In 2023,50%placement till December. But in last previous years approx 95 percent placement is there. I want to get a job in mnc company in a good position after the degree.

College is best for mca and engineering students for placement. Campus is very big.
College class room is very good and confrence hall is also for college students meeting
Food is very good I have many options for food

Placement Experience:

After 5th semester if you have above 6 pointers then you are eligible. Accenture, MacAfee, Microsoft, and many companies more than 500 companies are coming in campus 40lakh per annum is the highest package on campus in Facebook Company. The highest is 40 lakh per annum and the average is 10 lakh per annum. 99% of student was placed. I placed media com company and continue this company.

Remarks:

Negative college must include the new courses like python and ml to enhance the capability to the individual and maintain the food quality in mess. positive is that having so much opportunity to build yourself comfortably and easier to get job.

Life and Benefits of NITK

Remarks:

Overall it's a very fun and adventurous life here at NITK. you will get to experience many new things, new friends whom you won't want to loose. There is beach also, which is also a place to get peace. There are many places to visit also nearby like coorg, saklespur, sanctuary, etc.

Remarks:

Good remarks: college campus's environment is quite heavenly.. Weather is very good.. Not so hot not so cold in winters.. But rainy season is there for 4 to 5 months.

NIT Surathkal is one of the premium engineering colleges in India. It has an amazing faculty pool with top-notch infrastructure. Many big companies visit the campus for placements. The campus is huge with all basic amenities like hostels, health care centers, sports facilities, etc. Students are provided with 24/7 internet facility and also basic facilities like water and electricity.

The campus life is very dynamic with many technical and cultural events taking place on campus. Your peers are mainly people who couldn't make it to IITs but are very talented. Moreover, you get to experience the breathtaking view of the Arabian Sea.

NIT Surathkal organizes one of the best Cultural Fest Incidents every year. Additionally, many startups have been founded and co-founded by NITKians which has improved the startup culture to a great extent. Ultimately, college is more about what you learn and experience!
