Lovely Professional University and Jain University are two of the apex private institutions of the country which provide education in a wide range of subjects and fields. While Jain University is graded ‘A’ by NAAC, both the above-mentioned universities are accredited by UGC. B.Tech. programs are quite popular courses at these institutes. Admission:

Both Jain University and LPU offer Btech and MTech programs for CSE.

Jain University:

At Jain University students require 10+2 with 60% with Physics and Mathematics and Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics and JET/ Uni-Gauge score for BTech admission.
For MTech graduation and JET/KPGCET/GATE scores are considered.

LPU:

60% in 10+2 AND LPUNEST is the prerequisite for BTech CSE at LPU.
For Mtech the admission is merit-based and students require 60% in BE or BTech.
The BTech and MTech CSE program at LPU costs around 1.37 lakhs and 1.09 lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure and facilities:

JU: The outstanding infrastructure of JU includes a vast library, laboratories, seminar halls, auditorium, gymnasium, etc. Some of the facilities offered are library, hostels, auditorium, a variety of sports and clubs, etc.

LPU: The campus of LPU offers its students many facilities such as academic labs, libraries, sports and courts, gym, playgrounds, mess, wi-fi, etc.

Scholarships:

JU: The institute provides numerous need and merit-based scholarships including the Medha, Eklavya, and Natyaswara scholarships.

LPU: Scholarships are given to meritorious students, CAPF personnel wards, orphans, students with disabilities, etc.

Placement Statistics:

Students of CSE get employed in job roles like Software Engineers, Application Developer, Network Engineer, CAD Engineer, etc. The areas of employment include communication, IT, electronics, manufacturing, etc.

JU:

98.5% of students were placed in top companies such as Tommy Hilfiger, Honeywell, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, etc.
The highest package offered was 30 LPA and the average package offered was 7 LPA.

LPU:

2500+ offers were made by top recruiting companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Bosch, SAP Labs, etc.
The highest salary package offered to engineer graduates was 42 LPA.

Both Jain University and LPU offer decent CSE programs with good placement rates. So, choose according to your convenience.

Jain University offers Dual Specialisations under one course MBA to the students. The Dual specialisations offered under MBA are Marketing and Finance. The course will commence from September 2023. The course is offered by CMS Business School.

Yes, the entrance examination is conducted for MBA in finance course. It conducts the JAIN entrance examination, CAT and NMAT for the course. The application for CAT and NMAT will be out in August 2022.
