Course Curriculum Overview

5

I really liked the mathematical subject so I was interested in data science and analytics and I even like working with computer so taking up this course made a complete sense to me the subjects which they teach us now are up to the current world standards and only in 1st And 2nd sem you will feel a little lag in the subjects they teach as they are all basic subjects for 1st year. They keep practical exam named continuous assessment four times a sem where in they asses you based on how well you perform the practical and viva and other stuff and they keep mid sems every sem which will be considered for internal marks and at last the end sems which carries most of the marks The CA is given as a different subject and it carries different mark in total overall marking as in for sgpa

Placement Experience

3

I guess placement is only available for the final years or 6th sem students and most of the companies who have visited our colleges are cloudseek accenture and other such companies the highest package I have seen is around 3.5lakhs which is much lower per saying. My plans after getting my bachelor degree is to pursue my master's degree in data science and then seek for a good job on my own

Fees and Financial Aid

1st year tution fee+addmission fee:165000+20000 And following years only the tution fee which is same as above The fees have been increased for the current batch as far as I have heard from my juniors

Campus Life

5

I have been a volunteer in the student council UKTHI for the past 2 years of my college life they conduct good fests they even get good sponsorship from good companies for the fest and they even see the well being of the guests and participants of the fest the only downside I have seen is the non cooperative core team which makes it hard to work with. And for the technologies provided in classroom they provide projector and computer systems in labs

Hostel Facilities

5

The provide you with hot shower and they also provide you with wardrobe, seperate washroom, reading table and night stands with the bed and they also provide you a common refrigerator for each floor and common washing machine on the top most floor with drying space The quality of the food is top notch compared to any other hostel which I have stayed in but i would say they can also include nonveg as the price we are paying for the pg is also kinda high so.I currently live in sg palya area which is nearby to Koramangala

Admission

I really liked this college cus I wanted to move out of my home to explore world and if I had taken up the college's which i got I know i wouldn't be happy and this fulfilled with thise college as I have heard they mainly focus on academics only rather in this college they focus on academics and other activities such as fest and other things too

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ratio is pretty good as far as I am concerned as there are plenty of staffs who can take care of multiple subjects if required The marking schemes are also fine as they eloborate the marking schemes to the students and they even prioritize important topics in question paper rather than simple q&a

Night Life

5

The night life is not that vibrant around the college campus but the place wherein I am staying the night life is a buzz there is atleast 50 policeman around for rounds at night for the safe being of us peoples and we have a. Biometric walkin to the pg so we can access the pg anytime we want rather than the time restriction which the college hostel keeps which can be boring after 1 point of time

Now the syllabus has changed. New emerging technologies trends and subjects are introduced in new curriculum. Data science, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security are now taught. Practical marks are reduced to 50 marks. Term end examinations are conducted twice in a year. Exams are not that difficult. Usually previous year questions appear in the exams.

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. Around 60-70% of eligible students secure placement each year

Reviewed on Jul 4, 2025(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

Placement Experience:

First of all, there isn't a passed out batch yet(as of 2025). The first batch enrolled in 2023 and they are currently in internship period as they've planned. Placement will be offered at the end of 4th year. Although for internships, around 50+ companies visited and 96% of students got internships. The average stipend was 30,000 INR and the highest stipend was 200,000 INR (non-domestic). My plans after getting the degree are to gain some experience and go for a masters in business if possible.

Remarks:

Positive remarks: • The senior, junior, classmates are very helpful and cooperative. • The professors are also very helpful and concerned about our studies. Negative remarks: The authority is not so helpful. They take many steps against the students' sake and this is the main cause for decreasing the college's overall performance.
