- The college is too strict with attendance,if a student’s attendance is below 85 he has to pay a fine of ?5000,?3000 and ?2000 and if the student has a less than 75% attendance then he/she is detained which is very wrong ~ Abhinaba Bhuyan, BA

- The learning here is very practical, with a focus on real-life usability and employability, especially with the introduction of Learner Centric Approach
- The faculty and management are genrally very approachable
- There is a generous population here from diverse backgrounds, each one talented and ambitious, making the environment a good one to be in
Dislikes
- Needless strictness on attendance, with people having to pay fines even though they were sick or in the hospital.
- Course plans differ from course to course, and so does their relevance
- Some of the faculty are very inept, with a lot of the good faculty leaving.

Placement Experience:
For my exact department, campus placements for undergraduate students isn't great, but thats a concern for any college in Media Studies. Companies like Accenture and Bosch do come for roles like HR or Corporate Communications though, and with how the University teaches, employability is pretty high off campus, with students using their network built during their internships done in their earlier years to land a job. Starting salaries vary depending on the role and company, but start from around 3-4 LPA. Im currently into UI/UX, looking for an internship so I can start working once i graduate.

- I absolutely liked the amount of opportunities.
- there are many resources especially the Knowledge Centre Library.
- The Faculty is friendly and will help in getting internships too.

- The immense importance given to some draconian rules.
- Attendance of 85 percent is a big problem

Campus placements start in the final year. For media companies like Reuters, Times, Deccan Herald, Network 18, Sportsstar, Accenture and a lot more. The highest package offered was 8 LPA. I plan to do Masters while working part-time as a writer

For BA CEP, placements are available for third-year, i.e. fifth semester students.
The companies that came for this course offered roles as TA, content writing, business development, and so on.
The average package provided is around 2.5 to 3.5 lacs annually.

Placement Experience:
The placement process at Christ is held from November to December and then from January to march every year. Usually, 80 or more companies come for the placement drive. Companies like Samsung, ICICI bank, Amazon, Reliance, Bisleri, etc are present. In 2019 number of students placed in the undergraduate program was 878 students and from the post-graduate program were 842 students. A total of 1,720 students were placed and an even more number of students were placed in the year before that. Out of 2,778 students, 2, 149 students were placed with the salary offering from 6 lakhs to 13.12 lakhs. The placement cell and the percentage at Christ University are exceptionally good.

i have choose this college because this college provide good placements. I will prefer this college to those students who want to do direct job after there graduation, I have select this college from collegedunia site the site is really helpful for students to find good colleges.

I opted this course because it offers a triple major. Christ University offers triple majors for many different combinations. The campus has amazing facilities and infrastructure. The people of this university are helpful and generous and that is my favourite part of the college.

Remarks:
Its a really huge campus with lot of space for the students to learn and enjoy the college phase. The main auditorium is exceptionally well built. However, the rules regarding certain trivial aspects are too strict is what students feel, making coping up with the system, a little difficult. Atrendance issues are stringently dealt with and also CIA pattern causes rigourous work schedules to be followed.
