Course Curriculum Overview

5

Curriculum was apt especially leaving alone the first year to explore all domains to be sure with your pick. Then right after from the second year deep dive into all the building blocks of your stream. Also the comprehensive projects and faculty give you an idea of real world implementation.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are there as in a pretty low average package with 3.6LPA but apart from that there are good companies coming by as well like Mercedes, atlassian offering a package of upto 90LPA. Placement percentage is around 80% I personally just got placed on my own at this company I'd interned at

Fees and Financial Aid

So christ doesn't any donation and the structure is fixed that is 175000rs for first two years then 250000rs for the last two. Giving competitive exams do get a slight waiver such as the Comed-K exam.

Campus Life

5

Campus Life is great with Christ hosting I think on the biggest fests in Bangalore (magnificat) And apart from that just constant events hackathons all year round. Theres definitely a ton of student run bodies which mostly organise all these events so it prepares you to take ownership and gives accessibility to do such things. Technology name it they have it from being a ke to build your own cars to massive 3d printers to the latest sytems .

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostels three sharing very clean spacious nice room with a bed and a table. Washrooms and machines are common though. Food on campus is fully pay to eat with a variety of cuisine and 7 different restaurants to chose from. Around pgs and rentals also are pretty cheap due to the locality kengeri so maximum 10k you'll be able to get yourself your own room with everything and food outside.

Admission

I'd applied to multiple universities in Chennai and just this in Bangalore. Pretty much got into all of them but chose this due to change in place the fact it's in Bangalore. Admission process was fairly simple with one online test and one in person interview for which results were shared on the evening of the same day.

Faculty

4

So the faculty is good from research doctorates to entrepreneurs we do have a wide range of expertise to learn and grow with. Exam structure is as follows Each subject in a semester has 2 Internal assessments 1 midterm and 1 final which all adds up with a percentage to give a total grade . The internal assessments could be either tests or projects.

Night Life

5

Right outside there's a ton of student opened hangout restaurants and cafes. And bring little out of the city drives also really peaceful around here with a ton of these pitstop bars and rasta hookah traveller cafes all accessible. The locality is pretty safe considering the entire locality being students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good but I feel the vtu syllabus is too basic, even in the higher sems, which should be improved. The electives also were too broad and hence not much useful. I also feel more than theory we should be trained and allowed to comeup with self solutions without pressure or restrictions to let the real ability of the student to surface

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th sem. The highest on campus package this year was around 64 LPA, while as far as I know, the top 20% of the students usually get offers in the 16-24LPA range. The overall placement rate is good, but results depend a lot on your skills and practice

Reviewed on Dec 28, 2022(Enrolled 2019)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose electronics and communications wholeheartedly. Since my childhood, I was very interested in electronics and very humble in learning new topics in digital electronics. I was never a coding guy, so I took electronics and communications as my course. It was an easy choice for me. So class's average strength is around 65 to 70. And the faculty: student ratio is quite good. The teachers are well qualified and most of them are doctorate holders. The timetable is arranged in a manner such that there is smooth conduction of classes for all-year students. The exams are semester wise and there will be internals every month. Questions are better, you have to know little bit contents taught in classes and also from textbooks. It is easy to pass.
