Each course is well designed keeping in mind of the advances in the respective fields and the placements having a average package of 7lakhs. ~ Abhay Rampure, B.Com {Hons.}

Dislikes

Placements were alright not the best mostly Averagimg 4Lpa so the ROI wasn't really there. ~ Cyril Christopher, B.Tech
The college is too strict with attendance,if a student’s attendance is below 85 he has to pay a fine of ?5000,?3000 and ?2000 and if the student has a less than 75% attendance then he/she is detained which is very wrong ~ Abhinaba Bhuyan, BA

BBA at Christ University where opportunities meet expectations

Likes

The faculty and their dedication towards the students and university
The vibrant environment and the events and clubs that are constantly held
The non tolerance of any wrong activity such as drugs, assaults.

Dislikes

The constant emphasis on attendance that is 85% that doesn’t allow you to do other things
The strict emphasis on dress code that bounds us and doesn’t let us freely express ourselves
The students to teacher ratio, this doesn’t allow the students to have a one-on-one relationship

Course Curriculum Overview:

Honestly, with respect to relevance, I would rate it low since most of the topics that were taught to us in these 3 years felt like an extension of the 11th &12th grade. A lot of the things we studied felt familiar since we had already studied it so we were disappointed as we thought we weren't learning anything new and growing and developing. However in the 3 year we did learn some new and interesting topics that was very refreshing.

the campus of Christ university bangalore central is very green , spacious and has goo sports facilities.

Dislikes

The University is very strict about formal dress-code and haircuts.
Strict attendance policy of 85% is mandatory

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements after the third year and fourth year at christ. The highest package was 12-15LPA and average placement was 5-6 LPA from Companies like Zomato, Deloitte, KPMG, etc

The first year of Christ Bangalore

Discipline and opportunities and faculty
Sports and education opportunities in campus
Extra curriculum activities in campus i love it

Dislikes

strict teachers and faculty for 1st year students
medical and leave forms claim process too lengthy
holidays for festivals like diwali holi are less given as compared to Christmas and thier festivals

Placement Experience:

I mean, there is a placement cell in third year and in the campus. I'm studying is like from like three years so this year batch will be going for placement and I have seen like BB and B compliments are in Yeshwanthpur campus where I'm studying is very much good.

The campus environment is good and interactive.
The attendance system is also good enabling students to focus on academics.
There are various commitees headed by the students.

Dislikes

The canteen seems always crouded and in rush.
There were few cockraches found dead in the filter water.
The burger had a worm alive and was very disgusting.

The course is good and I chose ot because I was passionate in doing law, making a keen interest on the law field. The syllabus is also good comparing to other colleges. The method of teaching is simply fantastic.

First hand experience at Christ Bannerghatta

Likes

Good crowd with PAN India students mostly from North
Good, friendly faculty with lots of experience & industry exposure
Canteen with good and hygienic North Indian food

Dislikes

Placement Opportunities - placement blocked when placed in 1 company
Too much of restrictions during hostel stays
Very strict in terms of dress code where we had to only wear formals without any exceptions.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good but with a restriction that once a student is placed, he/she is not allowed to sit for further placement drives. Students placed in higher packages are ok with it, but students with lower packages who are placed in early days are not given a chance to better their chances.

The vibrant campus life Forster diverse social interaction through club events etc
Professors possess deep experience, employee interaction teaching method etc
The dedicated placement cell offer excellent career support with workshops etc

Dislikes

The cost of education can be a barrier for student to grow
Strict attendance policy is one of the task
Certain part of the course curriculum could’ve been more aligned

Placement Experience:

Student become eligible for career placement from 5th semester onwards. The university conducts preplacement talk to prepare student with aptitude test resume building and interview skills therefore if the students get selected they cannot op for any other job roles and if they do they are disqualified from applying for placement

Christ: opportunity or mistake?

extracurricular activities is what you can get most here compare t0 other colleges.
christ focuses more on practical knowledge rather than just theory knowledge

Dislikes

attendance is something which will make you annoy here
around 20k students are studying at one go in central campus itself

Placement Experience:

the avg package which the bba degree holds is around 6.5l tol 7l. this year the highest package was offered at around 22l and the company was deshaw. many big comnpanies holds their recruitement drive and selects the best out of the best students

The infrastructure, connections you make when you’re in college, the friends, the campus life, fests, real life knowledge etc

The barrier i face because of being from north

Placement Experience:

There are campus placements . the placements are good because after bba only you get packages starting from 4 lakh to 24 lakh. The average is 6 lakh. It has one of the best packages for business students .For the next year oy from now onwards more than 50 students have been placed in very good companies like DE Shaw, Ditto Insurance, Deloitte, Zomato and many banks and travel companies.

Average life of a christite

Likes

The things that i like most about my college is the faculty and how they teach professionalism and discipline.
The amount of opportunities are countless there is a club for every thing also clubs with credit points .
Active speaking and participation is held of so much importance there

Dislikes

The 85% attendance criteria is something that bothers me alot not only about this college but about our education system
The faculty of christ sometimes gets very strict
sometimes it gets hard to cope up with clubs and assignments, exams and attendance

Placement Experience:

so Christ provides a lot of internship. The batch of Christ is a very good thing to get placements and internships as well. The placements are seniors were provided with our amazing. There are also many seniors, who started their own start-ups and are well settled. Christ almost guarantees 99% of the internship, but it also depends on one over itself. How capable are you. the highest package which was offered in undergraduate degree was maybe between 20,00,000 to 25,00,000

Festing culture: it provides a very good understanding of the work dynamics of corporate
Beautiful Campus: the infrastructure is nice
Selection of people. The students who are here are of good quality mostly

Dislikes

Discipline: too much of discipline is imposed in uniform and everything
Hierarchy: for any approvals, a long hierarchy needs to be followed
Non understanding of genuine reasons for absenteeism

Placement Experience:

Only 25% of the students want placements. Big4, Zomato, SAP, Tribehive, etc come for placements for avg 7lpa. The highest was by DEShaw 22.5LPA. Most of the students plan to join family business, startup, or higher education

Christ University is a very good option for M.Sc. Clinical Psychology as it offers course with the disciplinary advances. The course addresses knowledge about Psychological functioning. The university provides hands-on experience in the course.

Christ University is one of the best private universities where you can pursue an M.Sc Data Science program. You can apply for admission in this program if you have completed a BCA degree or a B.Sc degree in Mathematics/Computer Science/Statistics from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
