Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum was above average and I would say that it meets the requirements of today's practical world when compared to other colleges in the same tier. The curriculum had prepared me for the upcoming courses that I am doing as an EPGDM student in Symbiosis.

Internships Opportunities

4

The college has limited opportunity of internships but if anyone finds their own, the college encourages them. There is no hinderance from the college administration or the placement cell. They are even provided leave.

Placement Experience

3

The placements are good but with a restriction that once a student is placed, he/she is not allowed to sit for further placement drives. Students placed in higher packages are ok with it, but students with lower packages who are placed in early days are not given a chance to better their chances.

Fees and Financial Aid

1st year - 180000 2nd year - 160000 3rd year - 150000 No extra fee was taken. For the 1st year, I opted for hostels so, had to pay extra 45000 for that. No extra charges in the name of placement or other miscellanous charges were taken

Campus Life

4

The campus life was pretty good. Being in a Bangalore City during college days has its own perks. The college organizes many annual fests round the year which is organized by the student commities. Thus, giving students a chance to gain world experience and also having the authority to make decisions.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel rooms were good with students from all over the country and also other parts of the world. The only thing which was also a good thing was that there was a curfew after 8:30. The washroom was common in each floor.

Admission

I chose this college over other college because of the competitiveness and the brand that Christ holds in the country. The admission procedure included applying for entrance exam followed by a GD and an interview. Also, the eligibility is dependent on 12th percentage.

Faculty

4

Faculty was overall good with extensive knowledge on the subject. They were also friendly in terms of parting their knowledge. Faculty to Student ratio was around 1 : 30. The pattern of the exams were 1st CIS followed by a Mid-term, 2nd CIS followed by an End Sem. The passing criteria was 50% of the total marks. It was only by studying throughout the year, one could score good marks. Still many were able to pass.

Night Life

3

Bangalore city has got a very good night life. But, hostel students are not allowed outside the campus after 8:30. This was a strict timing that was followed by the guards, even leading to warnings or rustication by the Dean.

Course Curriculum Overview:

For me thing that really influenced me and my decision to choose this course is that in recent world we have to learn skills in every domain to be the best and to gain experience and knowledge about digital business and entrepreneurship I choose this course so in future i have adequate knowledge and experience about the skills I need in this competitive world and thats why i choose this course and the curriculum because it really prepares you for the real world applications and one thing also it that there are so many practical project for example we have so many startups in our IIM Bangalore and nsrcel so in that there so many start up that is incubated by nsrcel and the startup from nsrcel really approach us so that we can to we can do internship or gain experience from that and there are so many opportunities that we can help as one of our senior got into tokyo's conference related to sustainable development and sustainable businesses so she was very hard working and lucky also to get that opportunity and there is a program called agile coil in which we can participate and this year 5 seniors got into Hiroshima University for their workshop in Tokyo and they learned from that and gained so many experiences from that program. the improvement that is I think they can do is we have so many practical solutions also but I do think that y we can have monthly visit to campus or live classes that so that we can interact with our peers as we only get to meet them 3-4 times a year and most of them are regions based and the frequency and timing levels of is just once per semester

Placement training sessions include mock interviews, resume building and aptitude tests. 2.Companies visiting campus and offers made: Top recruiters - TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Amazon and ICIC bank frequently visit our campus. The offers made are in the last placement season around 300+ offers were made. 3.Packages offered: Highest package was ?10 LPA offered by Amazon. Average package was ?4.5 LPA offered by Infosys. Profiles offered: Software developer, Data Analyst and Quality Assurance and in the non technical field opportunities such as Business Analyst, Marketing Associate and consulting were offered. 4.Placement Success Rate; Percentage of students placed: Approximately 85-90% of eligible students secure placements each year. Students from technical fields have higher placement rates compared to nontechnical fields. 5.Plans after graduation: If I secure a good campus placement, I plan to start my career and gain industry experience, however if that doesn't work out I intend to pursue further studies such as a Masters degree in MBA. I would work on improving my skills through certifications or internships to enhance employability.
