Students with the base Cummulative Grade Point Average of the companies which visit the campus for recruitment are eligible for attending the Online test and the companies short list some students and thenn conduct interviews and finally recruit them. The same is for the internships. The studnets with internships are most likely to get placements first, the the remaining students

I chose CSE because of my interest in coding, etc..., but here the main development goes on mining-related branches. The 2023 curriculum is very old-fashioned in that old topics are there but for 2024 batch curiculam changed and they are having latest topics

The circulum is quite fast and the sem ends in a blink of eye.sometimes it seems too fast and what ever the circulum the events are at the expected lvl so its good.could have reduced the course for 1st year and should have removed some of the courses

From 4 rt semester students are eligible for internship. And after may be they get ppo or after 7 th semester they got placement. There are lot of companies like google(Alphabet), meta , amazon, flip card and more companies.

Eligibility for Campus Placements: Students are eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester or the 4th year of their B.Tech program. Recruiting Companies: Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Tata Steel, Schlumberger, Deloitte, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, and Infosys. Core Companies: Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, L&T, and ISRO. Tech Giants: Adobe, Oracle, and SAP Labs. Placement Statistics: Highest Package: Around ?50–60 LPA, by top tech companies like Google or Microsoft. Average Package: About ?12–15 LPA, based on the department.

My branch is electronics and Communication Engineering it has a wide range of scope in futuristic need as the demands of semiconductors will definitely increase in future so we can highly depend on electronics

Placement are good as it is an iit , for my branch avergae package is 20.9 lakh so i like it as well as percentage of students placed is approximately 95 so that is also good so overall placement is good

7th semester we are eligible for campus placements. in my branch cse 50 are ppo last year and 50+ placement and still current placement season is going on . company's like microsoft, google, walmart, phonpe, flipkart, atlassian, axxela, future first, de-shaw, sprinklr, goldman sach, amazon etc. highest package -67 lakh square point . average package 15 lakh in cse 80-85

The course curriculum is very much relevant to modern science and tech. the curriculum will change from department to department but courses such as cryptography, artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, image processing, nanoscience and nanoparticles are thought to students.

The placement of this college is good and the average placement of IIT Dhanbad is between 17 lakhs to 60 lakhs approx. There are more than 250 companies visited to get the students hire. Above 80 percent students getting placements.
