- That's a new IIT so infrastructure is very good . It is better as compared to old IIT
- It present in Himachal Pradesh so campus is very beautiful as it is in mountains.
Dislikes
- Campus is located far from main airport city chandigarh , so it is hard to travel there
- Campus is small I think as it is 2nd generation IIT so it is in construction phase
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is quite good . It is very relevant like we have course on thermodynamics, rigid body mechanics which is useful in mechanical engineering and there are also robotics course for all branches so that every one can know the basics of robotics . There are coding courses for everyone so that everyone can know tech field Also there are extra curricular courses which are very relevant to our daily life like Language speaking courses like french , German , english . Also our college has started have semester exchange facility available to foreign colleges.

- I enjoyed loot of time with my friends and hostel fastivals.
- Overall this is the best time to explore our life
Dislikes
- To get grades in courses that's very difficult
- Landslide happened at the time of rains season.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I am interested in Mechanical engineering and I love hills, so I get admission in IIT MANDI HIMACHAL PRADESH. There are some core course, IC courses, HSS and free electives type courses . We must have to do at least 160 credit during 4year b.tech program

- Sports facilities, library facilities, greenary, fast wifi.
- Academic curriculum and teaching professors.
Dislikes
- Selfish behaviour of btech senior boys and girls.
- Can't do independent study in interested areas
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum of this college is too good in all branches. Areas of improvement includes real life practices of concepts. A person can give jee advanced exam two times in 12th and after only one drop year.

- Swimming pool is good hostel is good academic building
Dislikes
- Seperate hostel for boys and girls. Lack of campus life
- Mess food is bad. Boys company is bad . Culture is less
Course Curriculum Overview:
Here in IIT Mandi courses are divided into credits and for 1 credit we have to take 14 hrs of classes. we are generally alloted minimum 12 credits and maximum 23 credits each semester. We are also given labs which are of 1 or 2 credits generally which consists of once a week lab.

Dislikes
- Selfishness of BTech guys and restless during exams.
- In hostel we can't use personal kettles, induction, room heaters.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I have applied in mechanical engineering because of my interest and also the good placement in this branch. Areas of improvement - get connected to good professors and do good projects related to real-life problems and also try to maintain a good cgpa(more than 8). Frequency and timing of exams - there are two exams which get scheduled (midsem, endsem).

- The campus of IIT Mandi is located in the scenic himalayan region, providing a very calm and soothing environment and also the campus is known for its excellent academic programs
- The campus provides you a separate work space called as catalyst if you want to work on your startup or collab with different brands/companies
Dislikes
- The students of IIT Mandi find the remote location of the campus a drawback in terms of accessibilty, amenities and facilities available around the campus
- Being a relatively new IIT and considering its remote location, the infrastructure at IIT-mandi is lacking behind compared to other same generation or older IITs
Course Curriculum Overview:
Mechanical engineering offers you a wide range of career paths, even if you want to go in IT or Core, that why I chose this course The curriculum prepares you very well for the real-world applications with problem-solving and lab practicals The areas for improvement are students must be able to take any course he/she is interested in without any prerequisites and the teaching methods need improvement There are two exams every semester, one is mid-semester and the other is Final exam, this exams happen at 2 months interval after the start of the semester
Fee Structure And Facilities:
There is no fees for girl student plus an additional stipend of 1000rs is provided every month. While for boys it's around 15 or 20 lakh for the complete b.tech course. The reserved categories also get some additional scholarship which is easily provided on the IIT Mandi website.
