Faculty to student ratio is 1:11-12, most of profs in electrical+CSE+DSE. Various facultty members, one of them in Prof. Gajendra as he takes a course called Design Practium where we build real world products applicable to startups, research and so. Most of the faculty are good, but a little are annoying who wants to do works in their way only. Less than 0.5% student fails exam, exams are structured like midsem, endsem, some times mini quizes

Student teacher ratio in our college is 8:1. Faculty to students relationship is good . We approach the faculty by writing an email . Here mainly exam are mid semester and end semester and quize other than that surprise quize ,viva , project

student to faculty ratio is 12:1 in IIT Mandi. The faculty has good behaviour, they help and encourage to students for great achievements. They interact regularly, ensuring a strong connection and effective guidance to the students. Dr. Rohit Saluja,a faculty member at SCEE department is my favourite faculty. I had not participated for class participation in one couse but he gave me marks for class participation on my attendence. I don't like some other faculty of CSE department because they are not fair in giving marks to the students. Faculty conduct 2 type of exams: midsem and endsem. The level of both exam remains easy. 2 to 3 students may fail due to a lack of attendence. The course curriculum is new and related to the industry, which is practically useful in real life.

The faculty to student ratio is around 1: 10, which is good Most of the faculties are professors from other iits only, which is good in terms of teaching As per the name, satvasheel povar is one of the best faculty here Dinesh Singh is the faculty I didn't like

IIT Mandi- my home and karmbhoomi

Total faculties =around 132. Total students = around 2500. Faculty to Students ratio =132/2500=0.0528. Since the Bioengineering faculty members are lot good and given the less batch strength they know names of all your batch. Personally I like Tulika Srivastava (My FA), Shyam Masakpalli and Baskar Bakhtavachalu. Their teaching skills are good and doing labs with them provide you in depth knowledge. Bioengineering exams are moderate to difficult level.

Some professors are very strict and don't want to listen to students

Faculty to student ratio was decent in the earlier days but now the batch strength is increased plus many faculties have left the college so now it's harder to get time with faculty. Though most of them give you time if you want. The best ones are Parimala Kancharla, Aditya Nigam. Some professors are very strict though I would like to name names, but ask for the professor who teaches CV course and you will know.

Tha faculty members are very good. They interact quite well and very supportive in research and other activities. They also supports our students club activities for tech enhancement also they supports us in sports activities. They are highly qualified , writter of many good engineering books. They published many research papers .

The faculty memvers are well educated and have their proper methods of teaching. Variety of courses are offered even from a single faculty member, each student has the freedom to choose the course he/she prefers, conditioned that he/she must complete optimal credits.
